Mid-century Alexander home in Vista Las Palmas w/pool & mountain views

Beautiful mid-century house in a lovely neighborhood. Easy walk to downtown. The house has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Well equipped backyard with view of the mountains.

The home itself is great. The location is perfect and the home is well furnished, with nice art, lots of space, and is well stocked. It is better in person than the photos. The management company is slow to reply and too impersonal and automated. We asked for pool and spa heating. They don’t tell you that you can only heat the pool. There is no use of the Spa as you cannot heat it.The check-in time is so late in the day and the check- out time is so early, that you lose valuable time. Most properties have 2-3pm check in, not 4pm, and 12-1pm check-out, not 10:00am. I would stay at the house again if those issues were addressed.

The only issues were a broken clothes dryer (which we were not told about ahead of time, but later saw in a review from a previous guest that the dryer was broken) and the pool and spa heater were not functioning properly. The pool was heated to over 100, which on warm Palm Springs days made the pool unusable. Again, we learned from previous reviews that the pool and spa heater had not been functioning for guests before us. On our last day, we spoke to Roxy, the property manager, and she promised to refund the extra cost of heating the pool and spa. Unfortunately, it’s been two months and she’s not issued the refund even after our numerous calls and text messages to her…not a great way to end an otherwise great vacation.

Amazing stay!

We rented this house and my two young grandsons came with us. There were many fun games and things to play with at this house. Nice quiet neighborhood and lovely area. Had a great time.

Lovely house in a fantastic area. The perfect Palm Springs getaway.

The house was well equipped and perfect for our family. The neighborhood was charming and close to town, yet felt quite isolated. Elvis’ honeymoon shack was just down the street. The pool and patio area was a delight.

The house is clean, well maintained and fully stocked for all your needs. The pool and outdoor area were amazing. We didn’t realize it would cost additional money and time to heat the pool/pool spa. Probably only needs to happen in the cooler months, but renter beware. We really had a great stay. The area is walkable to downtown or a cheap Uber/Lyft.

Beautiful home, great layout, comfortable beds, fantastic pool and spa. Great for entertaining - media room, pool patio area, firepit, game table. The home was quintessential Palm Springs and the interior design was bright, mid century modern. I felt like I was on a movie set or a Slim Aarons' photo shoot. The house is even next door to Elvis' house. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely and close to all of the PS attractions and restaurant.

This home is beautiful and so well equipped! I love the mid-century modern vibe. There is so much space but in a way that is comfortable and cozy. The pool was perfect and the neighborhood is walkable to Palm Canyon. Probably one of the best homes we have ever stayed in. Will certainly be back!

We stayed as a last minute Labor Day getaway with several friends. The location is great. Old beautiful neighborhood. House was very cool with retro decor. House had everything we needed. Set up is really nice and the back yard is beautifully landscaped. The only nitpick I could have is the master bedroom stayed much hotter than the rest of the house. I would still recommend and like to return to this property.
