The house was advertised with air conditioning but the AC did not work. The host made no effort to help alleviate the situation in the exceptional heat during our stay. He has refused to refund part of the rent even though he has acknowledged we have had a difficult time. He also waited to inform us about the broken AC until the day after we arrived although he knew days in advance. The house was worn from neglect and lack of maintenance. We had to wash the kitchen cupboards to get the grease off the handles. This is our first time using Vrbo and Colbyco properties but we advice to stay away from both and especially Colbyco properties.

This was my family’s second stay in this home. Even though each time we stayed, it was because of the passing of a love one. It was close to my sister’s in Irvington and East Orange. Everyone loves the location and the warmth of the home which was much needed. The owner has always been available when needed. We had a wonderful stay again! Can’t wait to see upgrades! Thank you!

Our family gathered at this VRBO to mourn the loss of my brother-in-law. The spacious house, both inside and out, provided a comforting environment for us to connect. The host was responsive and helpful, though there was one unexpected visit that caused a bit of a surprise. House could use some new upgrades in the kitchen and showers. Overall, despite the few issues, we found comfort in this home and would gladly return in the future. Great location & quiet location.

The house is drafty. Was not expecting to have to go buy toilet paper. The house is not stocked well. The main bathroom leaks into the basement. Poor maintenance. the shower in the Master Baath needs to be renovated.

Love the old style house, but need upgrades to furniture and needed to be dusted furniture was outdated and the shower in the master bedroom should not be in the center not every one wants there hair wet. Would I stay again maybe so

Had a lot of cool antiques and lots of space. Also came very clean with easy check in and kind host

We rented this for a project stay. The management was amazing, and they were very helpful. Nice big place with lots of room. My team really enjoyed their stay.

Fit my family of 7 fit without an issue. The decorations were a good fit for the age of the property. Safe neighborhood in close proximity to restaurants for family.
