Mermaids Cove Waterfront Townhome Spectacular Views, Views, Views!

Our family enjoyed Labor Day weekend at Mermaids Cove. Great amenities and a terrific view! The home was clean and the owners were responsive during our stay.

The Good• Beautiful views and is conveniently located just a short drive from most Cape May attractions and the beach.• Dock access• KayaksAreas for Improvement• The property would benefit from a more thorough cleaning service. Upon arrival, I observed dead flowers, hair in the drains, mold on the shower heads, and a dirty coffee machine. Overall, the house did not appear to have been properly prepared for my stay.• Parking is limited. Although the house accommodates several guests, there is only one dedicated parking spot. The garage may fit a small car, but this is not guaranteed. Street parking is not permitted due to the flood zone, and the alternative car park is approximately a seven-minute walk away, which was inconvenient.• The house is spread across multiple levels with numerous stairs between floors. Guests with mobility concerns or knee issues may find this challenging. Additionally, one bedroom contains a full-size mattress on a queen bed frame.• There are exterior cameras on the property, which were not disclosed in the listing at the time of booking.Additional Notes• There was an issue at check-in, as I did not receive the door code prior to arrival. I had to contact support, and although I messaged the host, I did not receive a response for several hours. This was not an ideal start to the stay and was consistent with the overall experience.This was my first rental through Vrbo and it will be my last.

We had a wonderful stay. Came to Cape May for a wedding. After a 15hr drive they graciously allowed us an early check in. This gave us time to nap shower and head to the rehearsal. It all worked out perfectly.

House was nice view was beautiful, only down fall was the house was just a surface clean. Think you need to address your cleaning service or get a new one toilets need a good cleaning, sinks had hair in them last renters left dirty towels bathing suits socks. Just seemed like they maybe wiped a few things down and left. We did have a nice time and did enjoyed the house after we cleaned it thanks.

Great place to stay, plenty of space and very close to everything.

We stayed for Labor Day weekend - 5 adults were comfortable. The house was clean on arrival and was stocked with just about everything we could need. We used a linen service called Linen Ladies which I definitely recommend. Walking distance to several great restaurants and water view from multiple decks. Lorraine is very helpful and easy to communicate with.

This property was perfect! It had beautiful views, was a great location (right when you get into Cape May) and had everything we needed for our vacation. The house was very clean and very roomy! Would highly recommend to others looking to stay in Cape May!!

Great place, clean, right on the water, relaxing and great vibe! Great for families and friends.

Wonderful property, beautiful views from every bedroom, took full advantage of location to walk to shops, coffee, & dinner.

Lovely views, quiet dead end street, boats to watch, lots of comfortable areas to sit inside and out. Plus walking access to premium restaurants, ice cream, pizza and Wawa. Simple drive to beach. Hope to stay again.
