We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Mermaid's Lair, were sad to leave, and cannot wait to return. The house was exactly as listed. The lower deck was so relaxing, the hot tub super clean, the kitchen was well equipped; and the bonus of kayaks, life vests, fishing rods, nets, a crab trap, and beach toys for usemwere the icing on top. Our family desperately needed a relaxing getaway, and this fit the bill perfectly. We cannot wait to return for an even longer stay.

House was perfect. Close drive to the beach. My son and I were able to fish right off the back deck. Perfect for family vacation. Will definitely be back.

It was very nice accept for it doesn't sleep 7 adults it does sleep 4 adults and 4 children so it was some discomfort for five adults

We normally do a lot of activities and cook every meal while at houses like this and there wasn’t a single item that we were missing in this house! The renter is very good at communicating with you and the house is perfect!

This is a gem of a property! Everything needed was provided and then some! The kayaks, life jackets, and other outdoor items were there if needed. The house was well stocked and had an awesome TV too. The host was responsive. It was a great home away from home.

Perfect for those that love to fish, and we do. Especially my son, who I’m sure fished more than he slept. We were all really comfortable and would DEFINITELY stay again!

This home is located directly on the canal and a short ride from the beach! The home was clean, had plenty of places to lounge, as well as a hot tub on the lower level next to the water. Great community and very peaceful. We had a wonderful time and i would highly recommend!!!

My husband and I with our kiddos enjoyed our home so much. It was the perfect size home for family too. The house and everything were very cleaned (from exterior to interior) everything as advertised. The home was nicely renovated.The balcony was spacious and great view although we didn’t spent too much time there. We were down stair at the deck fishing and crabbing for most of our times. The host was awesome. She provided very clear checked in and checked out instructions and quick response at the time of needed. Everything were smooth for us. Thank you so much again! We know where to stay again when if we make another trip to Galveston again.
