Mendoza Residence, our Great & Spacious Home in Southern Mesa

We stayed at this property for 18 days, having to extend our stay because of plumbing problems at our home. The host was amazing and was able to allow us to move in early and also extended our stay with no problems and no headaches. They were upfront about the cost for the extension of time and were flexible with the payment plan that I had to follow because of banking restrictions. The property was nice, there were plenty of windows which made the house bright and open. The pool was a favorite place for my kids to spend their time. It was central to what we needed, close by grocery stores and near the school/work of my brother which was helpful.

The stay was OK. The beds were comfortable. The pool was cloudy upon arrival and the spa was cold. It was taken care of by the 3rd day but the kids were disappointed and we did not use the pool and spa. The downstairs toilet was not flushed upon are arrival and it was off putting to be sure. The house was picked up but the cleaning was superficial. I expected more for the money.

Everything about the stay and hosts was 5 stars. Could not recommend any higher.

The bones of the place were so good! But I feel like there were a lot of issues with the hot tub and pool. A lot of things in the house were only moderately cleaned or up kept. (Broken doors and tiles, stains on the walls, lack of chairs around the table, leaky fridge). There was no soap in the bathrooms, which is fine, just unexpected. Beds are super squeaky. Floors are loud, so those sleeping downstairs should plan to be woken with each footstep above. The help provided was just not thorough or fast enough to avoid the frustration that we had to go though. My guess is that no matter what was said, the hot tub and pool have most likely been inoperable for quite a while (they were filthy and no matter what advice we were given to get them working, nothing ever helped)! People should definitely know about that as we were SO looking forward to it as part of our stay and it was quite a big selling point in picking this place over others.

House is great! Host was super responsive to my inquiries. The group I was with had a wonderful long weekend. Would definitely recommend the house.When in Mesa take a trip to the Apache Trail and visit the Original Blue Adobe for dinner!

Great stay, easy check in

It was a nice place to stay with a big number of family, we like the place and its just a wonderful place to stay, its a clean home and peaceful area , the only thing that needed some attentions are the water heater not enough warm water, also the blinds needs replacements coz some don't have handle to close the blinds. Also the coffee maker needs a new one coz when we use it, it takes too long to brewed. And the rest are just fine. We love iur stay.

Great location and pleanty of space for the eleven of us. House had all the ammenities we needed. Would have been five stars if the pool/spa heat was working and if the one bed wasn't missing some pieces.
