Beautiful house and property in the forest just a few minutes by car to Mendocino village.

Lovely visit to a beautiful home!

Great location and beautifully furnished

Hot tub was fine, our group was just people, no pets, so can’t rate that. I had messaged the hosts several times to ask about the coffee situation, so we would be prepared with appropriate coffee and filters. Wanted to know if it were a pod (keurig or similar setup) never received a reply. Took a chance and brought regular ground coffee…which was the right move. And, since none of the three of us prefer the pod (keurig) method that was good. Sadly one of us ate some bad shellfish in town and had a really nasty digestive experience. As a result, in her weakened condition she managed to suffer a resounding bump on the noggin from the steel spiral staircase. Big lump, minor bleeding. And, as she is barely 5 feet tall, the fact that she managed to come in contact with the step is pretty amazing. Certainly not forseeable and no one on your end is at fault but adding some padding to the outside of the steps might be a good idea. All in all, a lovely and unique property. We enjoyed our stay.

The home was very clean and unique with this octagon shape. The only thing we would change for this property or any other properties is that we lose a whole day that we pay for by not being able to check in until 4 o’clock and we have to be checked out by 10 o’clock on the day that we leave. Other than that, the property was very close to Mendocino, but yet very isolated and relaxing.

We loved the hot tub! It was great to soak after busy days hiking or just to relax in. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived.

Loved everything about the property. Like living in the forest. Quiet and peaceful. Grounds were beautiful and the house was well stocked and well loved!

Love the surroundings with the beautiful plants. Thank you for opening up your home to travelers. We would love to see new shower heads in the guest bathroom next time. The hand held sprayer does not stay in place, and the other shower head in guest bathroom dribbles.warm regards, Laura

Very nice and quiet private, full of nature get away for us

Our family enjoyed a relaxing, quiet stay.

Immaculately clean, every single detail meticulously thought of. Warm & inviting, decorated with much thought. The surrounding gardens were peaceful and quite beautiful. Our visit was capped off with a huge fox that watched us from outdoors. The property was so close to the town of Mendocino yet tucked away off the beaten path and very private. We loved our stay and very much hope to return.

We loved our days of immense relaxation while here in this spacious and well-appointed home. It was cozy and expansive with all of its many amenities, although the cookware could really use an upgrade. Hope to be back another time!

Great house! Very spacious and has everything you could ever need! The only feedback is the downside to a late check-in and early check-out. Didn’t feel like we got a whole weekend worth the price. Overall, a wonderful vrbo!

Lovely, well appointed home and beautiful grounds; quiet, peaceful, yet an easy five minute drive into the postcard village of Mendocino with smoke cages and a great market and - the gorgeous Headlands trail along bluff AC over the ocean.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It’s well taken care of and had everything we needed for our stay. The property is tucked away in the woods to enjoy your privacy, yet it’s minutes from the beautiful town of Mendocino and beaches. We enjoyed daily visits to town and evening walks around the property with our dog. We BBQ’ed, played cornhole and enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings! Wonderful property!! Thank you for the amazing vacation!
