Stayed Oct 7, 2025Our stay at Meadow retreat for a month was overall good ! We very much enjoyed the outdoor patio/ fireplace/ and hot tub…however there were some disappointing things.The stairs and deck around the hot tub made us all uneasy when we walked on them and the outdoor tv didn’t work and the owner was contacted and she ordered a new one but was never brought to the house for us to use. The overall cleanliness of the house was was a little disappointing…( some kitchen items had to be washed, we didn’t put things in the bathroom drawers because they were not clean.The condition of some kitchen items needed updating We did enjoy our time in Texas with family!

Stayed Jul 14, 2025We were so happy to come across this property while we were searching for a place to stay in McKinney. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and we loved the way it was decorated - so personable. I loved sitting on the porch drinking my coffee in the mornings. It was the perfect “home base” for us as we all went about our days. The fan on the air conditioner quit working one day, and within a few hours of us notifying the owner, it had been fixed. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Stayed Oct 17, 2022If you are looking for a quiet location that is within 10 minutes of old town McKinney, or within 10 minutes drive to Princeton, this house is for you. We rented this house for two weeks while we transitioned to a new home. This house is well insulated, and will keep you cool and warm. All amenities you require.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Pictures are accurate. House is cozy and very comfortable. Host is very easy to deal with and checked with us frequently to make sure everything was ok. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if needed.

Stayed Apr 6, 2020My husband and I were relocating from Atlanta to the Dallas area and in need of a 30-day stay in a furnished home. We booked this property online after views the pics and communicating with the owner who was very responsive to our questions.. We weren't disappointed - the property was comfortable, clean, and has a great outdoor space with privacy from the neighbors largely due to the size of the backyard. When we had questions throughout our stay, the owner timely responded. We could not have found a more accommodating and pleasant owner to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I would recommend this property to anyone.
