Maw-Maws,Pet-Friendly Beach House | 2-Minute Walk to the Beach | Sleeps 9

My husband and I had a good time and the house fit our needs. Very pet friendly! We had our little Yorkie with us and had everything we needed. We were there the week of Memorial Day and the beach was not crowded at all which we loved. It’s in a great location!

The host immediately sent out a new bbq grill when I sent pictures of the one that was in poor condition. No other problems. They even provided dog bowls and beach toys and chairs! Wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time at Maw-Maws! The house was just as we expected based on the pictures. Everything was clean and in order. The house was just a couple minutes walk from a beautiful stretch of beach. The hot shower underneath the house was definitely a plus. The biggest issue we encountered was a very small ant problem, but when we informed the owner, she was very kind and had the ants dealt with quickly. We had an excellent time with our kids and our dog, and we hope to stay at Maw-Maws again!

The property was neet & clean but the stairs took a toll when caring suitcases. I wanted a walk in shower for my wife & it was great for her

Your home had everything we needed! The layout was inviting and the furniture comfy! Enjoyed hanging out on the porch, meeting the neighbors, and watching people and dogs walk by! Such a dog friendly place!!! Really enjoyed our time there!

Super clean home in a perfect location for our family. Appreciated the quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach. Hope to stay here again the next time we are in the area

This is our 4th year staying at Maw Maws beach house. For 2 weeks a year we feel like this is our home away from home. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The house is perfect just a short walk to the beach so it was easy to wake up every morning to walk our dogs on the beach and watch the sunrise. Cheryle has done a perfect job decorating and keeping the house updated, the house looks better every year. We especially enjoyed the covered front and back decks and had every meal on the back deck. The kitchen is well appointed so it was easy to cook every meal there saving us time and money. We also enjoyed the grill and sitting area under the house where we could enjoy grilling our catch of the day. We were able to surf fish on the beach, and also took advantage of the fishing pier by the ferry on Mobile Bay, where we caught several of our meals. I highly recommend this wonderful beach house and intend on staying there for many years to come.

We booked this trip almost last minute and needed 2 houses next to each other to sleep a whole lot of people. Cheryle came through…. Super communication before during and after and made any anxietys about the house or check in non existent. These places have everything you need and then some as everyone who comes through there keeps donating stuff for the next group which we did as well. Do not being any beach stuff as there is ample amount of stuff for everyone . This place will not disappoint clean quiet and stores for basic needs within 10 minutes. Definately will be back! We had a great stay. It's a great location with pretty much everything we needed.

My family of 7 enjoyed our week at Maw Maw’s beach house so much! I honestly do not have any complaints, the house was clean and pretty much had everything we needed that we didn’t bring ourselves! We loved sitting on the patio and taking in the scenery as well as having stores close by if we needed extras!

The area is peaceful, we wouldn’t go anywhere else. The house has everything you need and more. Cheryle is a wonderful person to rent from. We’ve been coming back to her houses for years now. I think this is the fifth time we’ve rented from her. Our fur babies got to come on vacation too. I wouldn’t have it any other way, leaving them at home I would be worried sick. Just wished we could stay longer and more often than we do. Fort Morgan is always beautiful, peaceful and away from crowds.

We had a wonderful few days at Maw-Maw’s! The accommodations were excellent, both indoor and outdoor, and we were able to unwind with our pups without any issues or headaches. This is a great rental!

As always the house was clean, comfortable, dog friendly and well equipped. My friend and I come with 3 big dogs. There are 2 large decks perfect for dog drying and a shower below for dog washing. It is perfect and Cheryle is always helpful.

This place was amazing. Beautiful homes quiet neighborhood, not crowded beaches. Our family had a great time and we were very pleased with this rental. Can’t wait to book for another date. Hands down the best experience we have had.

Our stay at Maw Maws beach house was perfect. I have stayed at many properties over the years in the Gulf Shores/Ft.Morgan area, but this by far is the best. This is our 3rd time renting this home, and won't be the last. Cheryle is the perfect host, she truly cares about the people who rent her home, and she only wants the best for us. The house has 2 covered decks, one in front and one in the back. Unfortunately the first week we stayed tropical storm Francine hit, but having the decks to sit on still allowed us to enjoy the beautiful views, even in the rain. Thank you Cheryle for being such a gracious host.
