Massive Beachwalk Resort Home with Lake Views

The house and guest house proved to be the perfect setting for a post Christmas family reunion with a bunch of siblings and a boatload of grandkids who enjoyed the house as much as the grownups. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed were comfortable. The different levels were a non issue for us. The weather - meh. There was only one day we could play in the park nearby due to rain, but that's to be expected in Michigan City in December.

Changes in Attitudes and Latitudes gave us plenty of space as a family and for those who wanted some alone time. The stairs kept us all in shale including this 80 year old grandmother. I logged 15,000 steps a day. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Plenty of towels. The home was clean upon our arrival and we tried to leave it just as clean upon our departure. The staff at Beachwalk was spectacular. Answered all our questions and they were so pleasant. This was our first time at this cottage but we have been going to Beachwalk since 2005. We will definitely be back. A couple of suggestions. Glow in the dark tape for the two stairs down from the kitchen and some of the railings need to be tightened especially the stairs going to Latitudes. Thanks for the memories.

As a small nonprofit we planned this trip to give some of our most loyal donors a retreat. We were disappointed to find this house was not up to the standard of homes we are used to at this price range. When we first walked in the house smelled, the wear and tear of the home was very deviant and the quality of furniture, flooring,etc was not what we paid for. The doorknobs were falling off the kitchen cabinets, some of the outdoor furnace was unusable.the location and amenities were so great. We just wish the house itself was at the same standard as the rest of the area.

We had plenty of sleeping places and places to eat. The entire house was well stocked with everything we needed! It was the perfect house and the perfect location for our family vacation!

We all enjoyed the amenities of Beachwalk and had plenty of room to spread out. Our only thoughts to improve the experience is having a golf cart be part of the property. We had many small children and this would've been helpful to get to the playground. Also, the heat was left on we assume by the property management team and it was very uncomfortable to get settled the first day.
