Mas Saint Antoine - Between olives and vines, near Cotignac

A very enjoyable stay overall, the house was very clean and tidy and had all the features promised. Reno who looks after the house was great at communicating and was really helpful and friendly throughout.A beautiful location, house and very comfortable beds, we especially loved the outside eating area, very nicely done.

The property was nice, it was a great place to come back to after visiting the area.

Property needs to be dehumidified (first few nights were spent in damp sheets), aired out and need to be taking care of by a professional. Upon arrival, the house was dirty and we ended up spending a few hours cleaning floors and furniture as well as getting rid of all the huge spiderwebs (obviously there for a while). The grounds also needed attention. The first time and only time we saw the property manager was 10 days after our arrival. All instructions were given to me over the phone about how to handle the issues we encountered during our one month stay, like water and gas problems and fixing the pool water level. We were also asked to go purchase a new coffee maker and toaster because they were not working and the property manager was unavailable.On the other hand, the house was very pretty; it just needs a lot of TLC.

We had an unforgettable and lovely week in this beautiful setting,10 minutes by car outside of Cotignac. The cosy home provided us with all we needed for a relaxing week by the pool: Great kitchen and bath, good beds, and lots of space for meals and games together - as well as quiet moments with a book. We travelled with two teenagers and wouldn‘t hesitate to book this place again if possible.

The property was typically Provence, idyllic set alongside the vineyard and an ideal base for us to relax and to travel into the village, as well as explore the surrounding area. The traffic noise from the adjoining road can be a little intrusive.

Just back from 2 weeks spent at this great Villa. The location is stunning, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, and the outside spaces are just wonderful - dining tables with natural shade from the mature trees meant that we could eat outside throughout our stay, the hammocks are great and we spent every evening sat in the deckchairs watching the sun go down over the vines. The house is next to a road, but it's set back and sunken so that you don't see the road and other than the sound of the odd car passing, it's tranquil and peaceful. A spacious house with a good kitchen and bathrooms. Marion provided great support throughout our stay, giving great suggestions for day trips. Having never been to Provence before, we were blown away by how beautiful the area was - we'll definitely be back to Mas St-Antoine....

We had a lovely time, but a few things let it down slightly: - It was a 25 minute walk into Cotignac which was a bit too far with kids. - The pool alarm went off on 3 separate nights. The water in the pool was too low apparently; this should not have occurred. It was terrifying on the first night to think a child may have fallen in the pool at 2.45am. - The outside lights were broken and new bulbs did not work. So a shame that we couldn't enjoy long evenings outside as the inside lamps we were advised to take out were not suitable. However, the house was lovely, the beds very comfy and generally well equipped.

The house was welcoming, with very good facilities. The kitchen and bathroom seemed newly refurbished. The surroundings are beautiful. The property has a substantial olive grove beyond the swimming pool. There are hammocks, one under a mature mulberry tree. It is a lovely place to be relaxed, with the vineyard just beyond the boundary, woodland to wander through, amazing butterflies at the time we were there, fruit trees and space for boules as you approach the house, and space to eat outside for every meal if the weather is as kind as it was for us. It is possible to walk into Cotignac, though the way back is uphill. There is a main road by which you access the property and that can be heard when the cicadas are having their lunch. We did not find it noticeable once we were settled. For a real experience of rural Provence with comfort and atmosphere it is hard to beat. Visit the cascades at Sillans and Entrecasteaux, wander round Cotignac and its markets. There is much to explore.

We had a wonderful week staying in this lovely spacious house surrounded by olive groves and vineyard. The pool was a win - couldn't keep the kids out of it! The local area had lots to offer, Cotignac village for leisurely lunches, cafes and a spot of sightseeing at the caves. The house is well equipped and the bedrooms a good size. The outdoor eating area was lovely in the evening. Already booked for a return visit in 2019!

This is a lovely house situated next to a picturesque vineyard. The surrounding area is beautiful and offers lots to do, from wine-tasting at the many vineyards to cycling down the quiet lanes surrounding Cotingnac. The house was as described, and it didn’t disappoint. Well decorated, cosy, with a beautiful pool. The only big problem for us was that the house is situated next to a fast (and loud) road, which can clearly be heard from both inside the house and particularly the garden/pool area. We think we were unlucky and that our week coincided with a local motorbike gathering of some sort, and so the noise was especially bad. We actually ended up leaving a few days early due to the noise. As I said, other than the road, it’s a beautiful place for a holiday.
