Kitchen was well equipped, good amenities but our stay was only brief - a negotiated one night stay which amounted to no more than 11 hours as we arrived at 7pm and had left by 6am the next morning to make our fishing charter - so impossible to say how valuable we would have found the rec area (table tennis in the shed, BBQ in the patio). Not sure if having to provide our own bed linen is the norm for such accommodation (?) but the communication from the host was excellent so we were warned in advance.

Once stylish, now a bit worn, this is a good place for access to beach in a row of shacks at marion bay.Our stay was cut short by electrical problems but amenities are accomodation were ok. No direct view of sea. Plenty of room for kids amusements.yorkes was in drought but access to Finnes excellent

As regular visitors to the cottage, the serenity of the place keeps bringing us back as surely as the waves return again and again to the shore.Great fishing off the beach or the jetty, and so many other awesome beaches nearby. The cottage is so homely and comfortable. It has literally everything you need. Great beds, games and a well equipped kitchen. The house is very clean, and feels like a home away from home. A favourite thing is to pour a glass of wine and cross the road to sit on a bench seat positioned at the top of the beach, and watch the sunset. We can’t rate this place highly enough. And it is so modestly priced … and pet friendly ! What more is there? Simply perfect !

Probably the biggest negative was the beds. We tried sleeping on the sofas which were too short for adults. We ended up trying the floor. We looked forward to leaving and coming home.

It's the 2nd time we have stayed at the cottage. The cottage has everything you require for your stay. It's a home away from home. The outside games room with darts and ping pong was used everyday by the kids. Really enjoyed saying

Wonderfully located on the foreshore of Marion Bay, and the perfect base to explore the National Park, go squidding off the jetty, and stroll to the hotel. Our kids loved the table tennis!
