Margaretville Chalet

Overall location to Belleayre Mountain was great, 20 mins as advertised. We had 6 adults, 4 kids and house had a bed for everyone, however 4 of the bedrooms were connected which we were unaware of, not sure if I missed in the details but you had to walk through a bedroom to get to another bedroom. Also, heat thru out house was very poor. House temp was 58 in February which was not ideal after a long day skiing. Host was very responsive, but it was a problem that could not be fixed. Host did offer to reimburse for space heaters if we wanted to go and buy, but we made due by heating pots of water in the kitchen and moving the space heater that was there already. Electricity lines in house have too many outlets connected which caused blown breakers every time the space heaters upstairs were plugged in and we used the microwave in kitchen. House was old decor, had no tv, and no comfortable seating. Furniture needs to be updated.

House had plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was stocked pretty well with everything we needed for cooking. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the mountains for skiing. I would stay again.

Great roomy house, picturesque surroundings, nice and accommodating owner. Would stay again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is spacious and well-stocked. There is a beautiful view of the river from the bedroom and living room. The surrounding area is perfect for a weekend getaway. We were in driving distance of several towns with restaurants and outdoor activities. You can definitely tell it is recently renovated as the fixtures are all up to date, including the three bathroosms. Appreciate the quality of the bedding and attention to detail in decoration. The property owner was prompt and communicative. I would definitely stay here again!

This house is like a time capsule, its adorable. My 4 & 2 year old loved exploring it. Very clean and communication with the owner is great. The only thing is that the town's cell service is bad, however the house has great wifi. Overall great stay, thank you
