Stayed Oct 20, 2025Our whole family loved this home and property…even our dog! This was our first ever Vrbo rental and we WILL be coming back here again!!! The house was impeccably clean and equipped with everything we needed. It has great desert charm and the view from the balcony and hammock is fabulous. Our entire trip’s purpose was stargazing at Big Bend, but the dark sky view from the balcony and yard is exquisite in its own right. Big Bend was an easy drive and a scenic round trip to and from the rental. Our host was SUPER responsive… available immediately or within minutes when we had questions. Marathon is marvelously quirky; within a block there are mini-mansions, RV’s, and old trailers. This house is a beautiful little oasis, reminiscent of a beach house but with a desert vibe. We were inspired by the unique decor and took a ton of photos for inspiration for our own home. You, your kids, and your pets will not regret staying here!
