Stayed Aug 4, 2025House was great. Owner was awesome. Pool and hot tub were maintained very well. The house was hot would be the only negative. Owner was super nice and helpful. 5 Stars would return.

Stayed Jul 31, 2025We went up to celebrate my 60th Birthday and we had the best time. The house is historic and so charming. Plenty of room for everyone, a billiard room, outside pool and hot tub. Besides the pool there was also a nice fire pit. In addition to the propane BBQ the house also had a Blackstone flatiron which was a nice surprise and we used both all weekend. The home owner Stan was the nicest guy, he did a very thorough walk through so we were familiar with the house. In short we would definitely come again. Thanks again Stan.

Stayed May 24, 2025Spent the weekend with family and friends, we had plenty of room for everyone. House is spacious, hot tub was great, and kitchen had many options for cooking.

Stayed May 16, 2025We were surprised to learn there is someone living on the property above the garage and parking in the driveway. That was not disclosed in the listing. The pool was not ready for use. It looked like a swamp. The hot tub also was not ready. Grill was rusty and not clean. Shower head was disconnected in one of the showers and required an handyman visit. Owner showed up as we checked in and was argumentative about those issues. He attempted to fix most issues. He showed up later, unannounced, with his large dog which came charging into the backyard and o to the porch where our elderly relatives were sitting. Lighting in the house is sparse, especially in the bedrooms, which we found to be dangerous for elderly relatives. We couldn’t figure out the heat or television, and no instructions were provided. Refrigerator was dirty, and house hadn’t been swep/vacuumed. Overall we made the best of it, but were disappointed by the mentioned problems.

Stayed May 2, 2025Tons of space, nice kitchen for cooking, ate all meals at the house while attending a Volleyball Tournament at Mohegan Sun. Kids loved the hot tub and fire pit. Old school New England mansion. Host was great!

Stayed Jan 20, 2023I am absolutely in love with this house! The owners were great and easy to work with. The house is a treasure! It’s really big, but it feels so cozy. I would recommend this property to anyone and I hope that someday I can stay there again.

Stayed Dec 26, 2022the house is bigger than the pictures portray. We had 14 people and the house was plenty big enough and had numerous bedrooms and bathrooms. It was perfect for the group of us.
