Never got the property as the door could not be opened without extreme difficulty, neither by me, nor by the cleaning lady whom I called for help. To put it short: We didn’t get a cosy little house, but got problems instead. Too dangerous to be in a house you were’t sure to get out of in case of eg. fire.

The properly is as we see it on the VRBO site, a small but cosy house near some fantastic beaches in one of my favourite places in Portugal. Just a small note that the Wi-Fi was not working which for me wasn't a big problema since the objective was to spend some quality time with my Kids... Would return in the future.

Good place and near beautiful beaches

Perfect little house. It had all we needed. Well equipped kitchen, Barbecue, terrace and a nice livingroom.

We had a great stay! Communication was very quick and friendly, and spontaneous. Thanks! The house was exactly what we very looking for as a little family with a 1 year old child. Everything as promised, peaceful and charming and well in order, but not too luxurious at the same time. A sun umbrella to take to the beach would be the cherry on top of the cake ;)

The house was spotless upon our arrival. Thank you! We were very comfortable for our 4 days. Our only disappointments were that the bbq was some old thing with no utensils whatsoever (although Isabel brought us some when we asked, thank you!) and no knives to cook with. But all in all, a good stay!

It was windy and a bit difficult to find with direction errors in the important document. There was a double bed in the bedroom, but the 3rd bed was a rolling bed with a children’s mattress that was short to sleep on. There were not two bedrooms. The mattress could only be put in the dining room.

Good location, clean and a very cute house.

Monte Ruivo is a beautiful & quiet area, giving you good access to local walks & beaches. The accommodation is great and comfortable with quaint decoration, comfortable bed, good bathroom & outdoor seating. The kitchen lacks some utensils (wooden spoon, garlic press!), giving you the impression you are not expected to do much cooking here! That said, you can manage it adequately, once you work out how to use the hi-tech stove. The largest ring was not working, which took me a while to realise, so initially I thought I was not going to be able to do any cooking at all!
