Stayed Oct 18, 2025Clean property and immaculate and beautiful outside. Very spacious and perfect for group cycling holiday and we appreciated the use of towels and washing machine, with space to store bikes. There was parking which was very much appreciated. The size of the property is it's main plus point. Having multiple bathrooms was fantastic. Being allowed to use extras such as salt and pepper/toilet roll/dishwasher tablets / washing powder was a really nice touch to our stay. Overall we really enjoyed it but some things would have made our stay better. The pool would have been better if heated. The hot tub was not hot and this was not rectified at all during our stay, despite informing the company. It was a key reason we booked this property so we were very disappointed to not be able to enjoy it. Likewise the toaster kept tripping the electrics for the kitchen and this was not rectified. We were shown the fuse board when we arrived which made us wonder whether there was a problem systemically with the electrics. There were lightbulbs missing in many rooms so we had to move lamps around so that we had light. The grill did not appear to work either. The showers in some rooms were not hot and in one room the shower tray drained forward which flooded the bathroom. We paid for early check in but the host was an hour and fifteen mins late. Then when we wanted a late check out we had to really negotiate hard to not have to pay a lot of money to allow this. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Stayed Sep 20, 2025The villa is in a perfect location in Girona. 5 minute walk to Old Town and easy walk through to the new parts of Girona. Day trips via car were easy. Many fantastic restaurants in Old Town. This is a must go trip!

Stayed Sep 30, 2024Great location to the old city. Beautiful gardens. Nice space for 4-5 couples. Ricard prompt with replies. Unfortunately the main fridge(alternative in the basement) didn't work and despite best attempts to fix this issue it was not possible. Compensation was provided. Otherwise a lovely property and we look forward to returning in the future.

Stayed Sep 20, 2022Stayed for two weeks in mid-September - early October. This stay was delayed for two years due to covid. Owner and property manager were very flexible with approving deferrals in 2020 and 2021. Was a little concerned that property had changed since the photos published dated from 2019. On arrival, quickly saw that the concern was unfounded. Great space for large groups with 6 sleeping rooms (including attic space) provided privacy for all. Guests arrived in two one-week shifts comprising cyclists and non-cyclists. Plenty of linens were provided so that no sheet washing was required to accommodate 2nd-week guests. Kitchen was well-equipped. Garden was beautiful as were the hilltop views from all patios/balconies. Walk up a steep hill required to get to house from town center. Mobility-limited guests had a convenient taxi option as needed. Lots to do in Girona for non-cyclists, and, of course, the cycling was outstanding - took a couple of tries to learn to navigate through the urban streets and roundabouts to get to the classic/iconic cycling routes in the Girona area. :) Property manager Ricard was very responsive to the few issues we had with the property. Noisy kitchen lights were replace promptly as well as the shower head in one bathroom. Throughout the stay, could not set the jacuzzi temp to as high a temp as we would have liked, but this was not a major issue for us. Great experience in a beautiful and uniquely situated villa!

Stayed Sep 8, 2022This house was better even than I had anticipated. The pictures may not actually do it justice. The location is ideal for popping in and out of the old town of Girona. But simply staying in the house all day is tempting. There are two A+ bedrooms with a terrace and views, while the other four bedrooms are comfortable but nothing special. Be prepared for some compromising in your group. Don't hesitate - pick this one.

Stayed Aug 8, 2022We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful villa. The property, home, pool and garden was spotlessly clean and very enjoyable. We even got used to not having AC in 39 degree heat! Thank you for everything!

Stayed Sep 15, 2019We loved this property. We were 8 road cyclists, traveling to Girona from Vancouver, Canada. This place did not disappoint. It is huge, first of all, and spotlessly clean. There was enough space that we could have our alone time when needed. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. There was ample room for all of our bikes in the basement. And the grounds are stunning! It was such a refuge to come back to after a day of cycling. We lounged by the pool and cooled off in the pool every day. Ricard, the property manager, was terrific - very attentive to our needs. We had a snafu with the house alarm midweek and he worked tirelessly to get it resolved (and it did get resolved!). The location is also perfect (as road cyclists we moaned, mostly jokingly, about every day having to go up the last three blocks at the end of a ride on a 20% grade - but it was that hill that made the views from the various balconies so spectacular!). You are literally about a six minute walk to the river, if that, and the old town. I was a bit loath to write this review because I selfishly want to keep this place as my own little secret. :-) But if you have a group, and if you're cyclists, I can recommend this place with no reservations - I'm already dreaming of our return visit.

Stayed Apr 23, 2019We stayed with 4 other couples for 10 days, while cycling and exploring the Girona area. The Casa Triadu-Marques was the perfect base of operations. Plenty of room for everyone to have some privacy and wonderful communal areas as well. The Market Leo is just a short walk down the hill, so we always had fresh gorgeous food. We loved to cook and have our evening meal in the dining room. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The hot tub was great, the pool a bit chilly during our visit (late April). Lovely grounds and beautiful views. The garage was perfect for storing our bikes. A bit of a splurge for us, but worth every penny. Would love to return.
