From the minute we booked Manioca, the communication was prompt and clear. The host was very accommodating, warm and always went the extra mile. I had two kids graduating from Texas Tech. The host left cookies, extra tables and chairs and the sweetest note congratulating our two kids. The house was stunning!! Our family enjoyed staying at Manioca. Our only regret is that during the four years our students attended Texas Tech, we didn’t find this house sooner. We plan on booking Manioca for our future Alumni football weekends! Thank you for being the best host! My family loved the house!

Host was excellent, provided many extras for our arrival like bottled water, cookies and holiday/seasonal hand soaps and communicated very well during planning our trip and event, before arrival, and during our stay. Thru also left the lights on, which helped for our after-dark arrival in this quiet neighborhood. The house is truly amazing. This beautiful home is immaculately well maintained and has even more character than the pictures show. There are hundreds of lights, many which are beautiful fixtures, throughout providing tons of light, and most dimmable. The bedrooms that each have a queen bed are generously-sized rooms, and each have their own bathrooms. The pictures don't show that in the bedroom with the two queen beds, there is an L-shaped sectional couch with 4 built- in recliners, plus an independent recliner. This is essentially a huge den. A perfect place to hang out. The master bedroom is amazing and enormous! 5 separate switches for all the lights, a wall of mirrors. The master bathroom is incredible on its own, with a step- in tile shower and bath, and a huge closet. The large grand room has amazing views of the backyard, with a large porch. Exterior columns on the front and back porches add a nice touch. Large kitchen has commercial-sized, gas stove with 2nd side oven. Lots of eating utensils, cooking utensils, and some seasonings. Place settings and other dishes for use. Ceiling fan in kitchen! (controls by the master bedroom). Highly recommend it! s

Enjoyed an extended weekend with 9 family members to celebrate a baby shower. The home is more spacious then the photos can reveal, and the uniqueness to the home is unlike any other. My entire family enjoyed the home and the owners are very accommodating and even provided us with breakfast on the day of our departure.

So much room and was so clean. I would book it again.

We really enjoyed this house. It had so much character and appeared to be little changed from when it was built in the late 60's. It was like stepping back in time with it's interesting furnishings and books. It was a great place to entertain our family and friends while visiting Lubbock for a wedding. Owner was very accommodating and we even received a surprise gift of breakfast donuts on Sunday from a nice neighbor.

We rented this property so we can stay together for my son's graduation. Everyone loved the property and the owners were welcoming and helpful. This property is beautiful and unique. It was a special place for a special weekend.
