This sunlit townhouse provides all the little luxuries one could want out of a vacation home here in Selbyville. Enjoy access to a wide variety of Mallard Lake amenities including an outdoor pool, tennis and pickleball court, hot tub, picnic area, playgrounds, and a community fishing pier. This property is also less than five miles from a variety of local attractions including Viking Golf & Go-Karts, the Freeman Arts Pavilion, the DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum, and Fenwick Island State Park.

Back home, stock up your fridge and prepare everyone's favorite dishes in the well-equipped, full kitchen. Dine at the attached breakfast bar, the nearby dining table, or gathered at the picnic table in your furnished, three-season sunroom where you'll also find a comfortable sofa bed to use as an additional sleeping option. After meals or exciting days out, settle into your living area and stream all your favorite TV channels using your own accounts. ((There is no Cable TV and the fireplace is not operational.)

A storage shed outdoors offers a space to stow gear as well as a variety of items that guests are welcome to use during their stay.

Things to Know
Mallard Lakes charges a $150 amenity fee for parking and pool, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Guests must go to the Mallard Lakes office to pay for it. Every other week during the year, the amenity fee is $100 per week.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

    I see tons of need for improvement on this property and communication. This place was very unclean-dirt and hair on floors, toothpaste on mirrors, counters were dirty with stickiness and hair in the kitchen, sheets had not been changed. The overal property smelled old and like mildew. The cleaning people should invest in a real vacuum, this place has shag carpet that had lots of dirt in it. This property is run down and smells old/mildew. The downstairs bathroom door has I love u written in marker on the inside (something you would see in a bar). Vacasa was responsive when I reached out. There was also no information provided on how to access the pool. I had to pay an additional $100 for a key fob to access the pool and to park. This information was not shared. Mallard lakes has very limited office hours to get the key fob. I had waste part of my time trying to get to the office hours for the key fob.

    Nice lil getaway if you like peace and watching the ducks and geese. Close to shopping and night time venues. Will go back soon.

    We had a great two-night stay at this condo. It was clean, comfortable, and just a short ride to the beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive, and the location made everything easy and relaxing.

    The property was comfortable and was equipped with the basics to get you started. If you are going to be cooking in the unit be advised the options are few and there are no kitchen knives but we were able to make due.

    Close to beach and many Fenwick/North OC amenities and attractions. We fished and crabbed off the small dock out back. The sunroom with picnic table made a great station for poles, nets and bait.

    I have used Vacasa many times, and this was our second stay at this location. I highly recommend using Vacasa, and this rental is perfect for a weekend getaway.

    I have used Vacasa before and love the company. Transactions and access to the facility are smooth. This place was what we needed for a nice weekend away. It is quiet and close to local restaurants and activities. We want to stay there again!

    Location was great. Unit was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Owner was courteous and quick to respond to all questions and requests. We will definitely be back.
