Known as Georgia’s Apple Capital, Ellijay bursts to life each autumn with harvest festivals, cider tastings, and farm visits, while nearby Blue Ridge adds boutique shopping, cozy cafés, and panoramic train rides through the mountains. Outdoor lovers can spend their days hiking scenic trails to waterfalls, kayaking the Cartecay River, fishing mountain streams, or exploring endless forest roads that lead to sweeping overlooks. The cabin is fantastic-two fireplaces, a bedroom and full bathroom on each of the three levels, and amazing views from inside and outside. We loved the outdoor fireplace, and there’s plenty of firewood provided. We will definitely book again!

I am a person who pays attention to every detail, and the first thing I’ll say about this cabin is it was CLEAN. It truly looked like we were the first people to ever stay there, and I appreciated that. It feels very warm and welcoming — beautifully and tastefully decorated with lots of space both indoors and outdoors. Even more impressive in person than in the photos, especially the downstairs bonus/game room area. It is stocked very well with basics in kitchen and bathrooms. Beds and pillows are super comfortable, better than your average stay somewhere. All of the porches are huge and perfect for relaxing along with the outdoor fireplace and fire pit. The mountain view is amazing from outside, but the large windows inside provide a stunning view from the comfort of the couch as well. Easy and quick drive into town from the cabin. Also, Courtney was wonderful from start to finish. We spontaneously wrote her asking to add an additional night to our stay because we weren’t ready to leave. She immediately adjusted our booking for us. My husband accidentally left some items in the cabin after check out, and she was kind enough to mail them to our home when she had no obligation to do so. We plan to be back!

Place and location were overall great. My only frustration stemmed from communication from the owner. There were several things brought to her attention regarding cleanliness of the cabin and she suggested she could have it recleaned to my “satisfaction” given that her cleaners sent her pictures on the cabin prior to our arrival. However she only provided a picture of one of the tubs to “prove” things had been cleaned when in fact there were several areas not thoroughly cleaned. I felt this was rude given that there were hairs (clumps) in 2 of the showers and the toilet had not been scrubbed at all in one of the bathrooms. Given the amount paid I would have expected a little more understanding from her end.
