During school holidays we favor requests of at least one week.
Very functional house, able to accommodate up to 24 people. It is bright and comfortable, perfectly equipped for holidays in large tribes. 10 minutes walk from the beach of Saint Jacques and the port. Small shops also 10 minutes walk. The house is at the end of a very calm dead end, the garden is closed.

Stayed Aug 25, 2018Overall had a great time; house was ideal for our needs, plenty of room, nice big garden for family sports e.g. cricket, football. Lovely location at end of the lane, overlooking fields and trees, and yet not far from the beach and the local shops. Negative points - some mold on the wall in one bedroom and one en-suite. As British visitors we had a shock to discover that we needed to bring our own bedding. (not something we are used to when hiring holiday cottages in Britain). At the price for the house you would expect bedding to be provided (and its not mentioned on the house description anywhere). Also a difficulty was that all the pillows were square! I didn't even know they existed! In Britain pillows are always rectangular, and we had all brought rectangular pillow-cases - so we had difficulty squeezing the square pillows into our rectangular pillow-cases, resulting in some bumpy pillows! We also arrived rather excited about the prospect of there being bikes we could borrow (as per the house description) - but it turned out there were only 5 we were allowed to borrow, (all adult size, 4 with cross-bars, one without); and in the end only 3 were usable. We were a little disappointed, but I suppose we should have checked in advance. Overall though we had a really great time and a lovely holiday and I would recommend this holiday house to other British visitors.
