Perfect retreat from this busy world. 1850's peaceful house on 5 acres with oceanfront and a rustic barn. Love cappuccinos Green Tree Coffee Roasters, featured in the NY Times, is across the street. Waking up downwind on a roasting day is the best. Dots gourmet shop is a couple doors down. Relax in the big bay window or walk down the property to the ocean bluff 0.5m. You can relax in the Adirondack chairs and watch the boats or use the stair access & walk along the water to LincolnvilleBeach Grab some gourmet sandwiches and maybe a bottle of wine from Dot's for a picnic then take the Islesboro ferry for a day trip to this beautiful island. The kitchen has a big bay window and window seat which are perfect for relaxing. For those who love cooking, the kitchen is equipped with a professional gas stove with double oven. There is a dining room and living room as well as the library, which has a queen bed. The downstairs bathroom has a shower. The upstairs features beautiful 12 pumpkin pine boards. The upstairs has two bedrooms and a full bath with a tub. In total, three bedrooms, two bath and a new queen pullout couch in the living room. Our barn still has its rustic charm and its own unique history. Jane Wazey, a previous owner used the barn as her art studio and carved the Andre the Seal statue. The statue is located in Rockport Harbor. If you are not familiar with the story about Andre the Seal, he lived with a local family and would return every year. It is worth reading the book or watching the movie before you come visit, especially if you have young children. https://newengland.com/today/travel/maine/portland/andre-the-seal/ Guests have use of the whole house except for a closet in the main house and access to the main floor of the barn as well. Lincolnville Beach is the perfect quiet town with much less tourist crowd than Camden. But if you desire the clothing shops or restaurants of Camden we are only ten minutes away. It is the best of both.

We had an excellent summer stay at Foxtrot! The kitchen was well furnished, the house was super clean, and there was plenty of room to spread out. The central location on the mid-coast of Maine made for some great day trips to Acadia National Park and Boothbay Botanical Gardens as well as dinner in Camden and Belfast. I would stay again if back in the area.

We had a great stay at this unique property. The walk to the bluff every morning and evening was part of the charm. There is AC in the kitchen which was very nice. The house is rustic but that's also part of the charm and is accurately represented in the description. The location is wonderful. Vivienne was very responsive and helpful. I would stay here again!

My family had a great time at this old farmhouse. The kitchen could use more utensils and plates. The upstairs could use a good dusting. The bathrooms were not the greatest but we knew it was an older home. Very quiet and peaceful

My family had so much fun in Maine. The house is in a great location. Walking distance to Lincolnville beach, great coffee shop next door, great market next door, close to Camden hills, we hiked Mount Megunticook, shopped in Camden, took the Ferry to Isleboro and spent the day. So much to do in the area. Vivienne was very responsive, friendly and easy to deal with.

This house is in the perfect location- easy access to water/ hiking / midcoast towns next door to a delish maine market and coffee roaster… the house itself is a charming old farm house that has all the basic stuff. If you are looking for high end - this isn’t your place. For us, we loved the comfy, lived in beach house vibe. My kids (8 and 5 ) loved all the games provided. The property has a rambling lawn down to the sea. The beach is rocky but you can walk along it- or drive - to a nice swim spot. The only con is we couldn’t stay longer. Plan to return!!!

Beautiful property with rolling field down to the waterfront. Charming old Maine farmhouse was warm and comfortable, provided everything we needed for a wonderful family gathering. Outside space for eating, star gazing and fire ring was perfect. A great location to explore Camden, Belfast and all the surrounding areas. It was a perfect place for us!

Understand what you’re renting if you stay here: this is a farmhouse built in 1860. It’s been maintained, but if you’re looking for fancy, luxurious lodging, look elsewhere. If however, you want a clean, spacious house that can comfortably accommodate 7-8 people of varying ages, with a well-stocked kitchen, and ocean beach access, this is a great place to stay. Yes, you’ll probably encounter a few bugs and the shower/washer are a little temperamental, and there’s no AC, but our family (grandparents, brother and his girlfriend, and our young kids) all had a really nice stay. The one major issue that we encountered was the battery on the code-lock died and we were locked out, but we managed to put my 7 year old through a window and get in. Other than that, everything was as expected and we felt like this was a good value.

This home has all the charm of a older farm house. We spent most of our time at the waterfront in the backyard. If you are looking for luxury this is not your place. It’s minimally furnished and but does have a comfortable bed. Having the coffee shop and Dots next door made our trip even better!
