Magnolia Suite Vacation Home -Private Entry, Old Canton N. Jackson

Place was OK. Alright for just passing through, not a stay in the area. Why the low rating, because the Host had the property listed for sleeping 3 people. When we got there, it only had one queen size bed, which was listed as such in the ad. So we believed the small sofa pulled out to sleep the third person. It didn’t. Wrongly advertised. We told Host that the place was OK but that it wouldn’t work for us so we had to find a different place that would be suitable for 3 people. If there was a way to get at least a partial refund, that would be great. I mentioned they didn’t have to do it because it all went through Vrbo. She fired back and said not to be inconsiderate and they could give me an air mattress. I did not pay for an air mattress for my third family member to sleep on. I told her we would simply find something suitable for our family and that maybe the online add should reflect appropriately. This is where I lost any respect. Had they told me that they understood and that it was simply a mistake on their part, I would have had no issues. However, they deceitfully went online and “CHANGED” the ad and said I was wrong. That it said it only sleeps 2 and it advertises only one queen bed. Fortunately I took screen shots of ad before they changed it. That indicates deceit and I don’t deal with deceitful people. Shows they care about a “buck” rather than providing a good service. Now trying to resolve issue with Vrbo because will get nowhere with host. Don’t recommend.

Quiet neighborhood

Definitely a nice neighborhood to be in! It definitely feels like a mother-in-law suite, in its separate location than the main home, that they converted to a private residence for rental. It is a little older, but in good condition. If you’re wanting a full kitchen, that is not what it has. It has a kitchenette. However, if you’re there and just need a nice and safe place to stay for a few days, this is definitely the place to go. It was very, very easy to check-in and extremely easy to checkout!

Very cozy. Close to all locations and activities around Jackson. Street was so quiet and the neighbors in neighborhood were polite.

I stayed one night and I had a positive experience. The place was clean and seemed to be in a safe/quiet neighborhood. It’s small but that was perfect for my needs as I was traveling by myself. Two people could be comfortable but three might be stretching it since there’s only 1 bed. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay there again.

We arrived with no contact reply from your host until 2 hours after arriving. The place was filthy from the previous guest. I took pictures told the host of my problems. They seemed unconcerned with the situation. So I had to go downtown Jackson for a room at the hton
