'On the Rocks' can have numerous meanings. However for this home, it refers to the undiluted perfection that exists within the balance of this newly renovated home on one oceanfront acre, with an enormous private frontage leading to through the beach grass and soft sand to the Pacific Ocean.

From the moment you walk in, you'll enter a space that is exquisitely designed where every piece was curated to create that perfect blend of style and comfort. The enormous bank of windows and glass doors bathe the entire space in natural light as well as panoramic ocean and territorial views. There open living, dining, and kitchen layout is perfect for small groups and families looking to enjoy time together and make memories.

The 'backyard' consists of a new custom deck with seating for dining, relaxing, and of course the private hot tub with absurdly gorgeous ocean views. Day or night, warm up around the nearby fire-pit listening to the sights and sounds of the ocean beyond. We know that every group will spend every moment possible in this space.

Inside you will find two bedrooms on the main floor, and two bedrooms on the lower floor. On the lower floor there is an additional family room with plush seating, a huge flat screen TV, and gas fireplace for your enjoyment. Again, you can't help but to notice the incredible craftsmanship throughout as well as the meticulous thoughtfulness in each piece. The home was truly designed to be both an experience as well as a place to stay and enjoy the Oregon Coast. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all.

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

DOG FRIENDLY (under 60lbs) : **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $200 (2 dogs). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. This is an amazing beach home. The property, the amenities, and the comfort at fantastic. The view is stunning. Probably one of the best views a beach house could have. We will definitely hope to rent this property in the future.

On the Rocks was the perfect house for us and another family. The location was AMAZING and the house was clean and very well stocked (for once, better than the pictures). The staff was also really responsive and overall we had a wonderful trip. Def keeping this on our list for future coast trips.

I can't wait to rent this property again! Beautiful location, just steps away from the most beautiful beach. I could look out the window at Twin Rocks all day. House was clean, beds comfortable.

The house was amazing, very cozy, awesome beach access, great WiFi, nice hot tub, and entertainment. We hosted Christmas for our family and you never know what to bring vs what the house has, but it was well stocked with pots and pans, etc. Two suggestions, add a roasting pan and a digital thermometer). BBQ was missing a tank. We were having a great time on Christmas and the power went out for about and hour. That was not a big deal. Bad weather overnight cause another power outage that lasted over 12 hours. That was more severe because everything except the stove is electric in the house. The house had no heat, no hot water, hot tub cooled, frig warm up and we lost the seafood, and we couldn’t use my parents medical devices. Although we know the owner cannot control the weather or local power company reliability, however the house just was not equipped for an extended outage. I would suggest a whole house generator back up or at least a portable generator that could keep some essentials going. 5 star house but 4 stars because the extended power outage (no generator or back up essentials equipped with the house)which ended our trip early.

Can’t beat location and views. There were some issues with the grill, downstairs fireplace and oven, but management too care of what they could quickly. If you have a large group request or bring your own larger pots and pans. Don’t miss rock crab pizza! Delish!

This is an incredible home right on the beach! The best part of our stay was listening to the waves crash as we sat in the hot tub or just sitting inside with the sliding door open! Great location… can walk on the beach into town. House was so comfortable with everything we needed.

First, this home is absolutely gorgeous and the view is stunning. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. If this place weren't so expensive, it would be an easy 5 stars, but for the amount we paid I would expect to have no or minimal issues. The fireplace was broken, but we weren't notified, so we wasted time chatting with support and swapping batteries in the remote to try and get it to work. This is also an important amenity to us, so to pay that much and not have access to the fireplace at the coast was a bummer. Additionally, the electricity had been turned off in the primary bedroom for some reason and two of the remotes (fireplace, primary bedroom fan) did not have batteries in them. The property manager said they would bring batteries and never did. All in all, not huge issues, but it added up to spending time communicating with support that I'd rather spend enjoying my vacation (especially at this price point).

The owners of this home have given it a stylish-if-cheaply-built glow up, and the beachfront location at the south end of town can’t be beat. The view of Twin Rocks framed by the landscape is fabulous, especially at sunset. The plantings around the house are beautiful. The sheltered “mini-beach” immediately off the back deck was a *huge* hit with the kids when the actual beach was too windy. The hot tub was a lovely place to relax and stargaze. Like many vacation rentals, the layout is a little funky (the two best bedrooms are upstairs, but share a single bathroom with only one small towel bar; the built-in bunks in the basement are strangely placed and awkward to access unless you’re a nimble kid) and the experience of renting this house would definitely benefit from focusing on a few more basics (bath mats, mattress covers, a drying rack for swim gear, mats or carpets to help catch sand *inside* the doors …) rather than giant TV screens in every room, but all in all? It was a spacious, bright, relaxing home base for our three adults and two kids this week.

On the Rocks is a great home for a family holiday. Quiet street, open floor plan, well-equipped kitchen, good internet, cable TV access, laundry facilities, and lots of places to sit and relax. When our grandkids did not want to take the short walk to the beach they just stepped off the back deck onto their own little beach (minus the ocean). Our only disappointment was discovering an inoperable hot tub, something we were looking forward to taking advantage of (can't beat watching the sunset over the rocks). It took four days to repair, giving us basically a day to enjoy it. Otherwise we highly recommend the house and would stay again.

This was a beautiful house and worked great for our range of ages. Grandparents could stay mostly on the main floor and still enjoy beautiful views, and be part of the action during family meal prep. Kids could play right out back or at the beach. Having a firepit that close for smores was also great. We had a slight problem getting the hot tub working and the host responded immediately. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family of ten loved our stay at the House on the Rock. The view of the ocean and the twin rocks was enjoyed by all of us whether we were viewing it from the comfortable chairs inside the house or on the deck. It was nice having the fire pit with plenty of wood provided by the host. The large kitchen counters made it nice when we were all trying to make sandwiches at the same time. The house is centrally located with lots of coastline and beaches to explore close by. We would love to return someday in the future!

This home was a perfect place to stay for our extended family coast vacation. We had two grandparents, two couples and a child. The space was great - plenty of seating for lounging and eating, both indoors and out. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked most meals at the house. The views are breathtaking and the beach access is so easy! A quick walk through dunes to reach 7 miles of beach. The home was easy to find, great parking and easy access to the areas sites. There is a flight of stairs up to access the main floor, but great railings for those who may need it. We can’t wait to visit again.
