Magnificent Ocean Ranch Villa

But considering how many guests cycle through, it makes sense they replace things when truly needed rather than constantly updating. • Décor: Not really my personal style—but it’s a vacation rental, not my home, so that didn’t bother me at all. • Beds: Very comfortable! I thought the master was supposed to have a king bed, but regardless, I slept great. • Location: Perfect. We specifically wanted a scenic coastal drive while still being close to San Luis Obispo, and this spot delivered exactly that. • WiFi: Strong and reliable throughout the house. • Kitchen: Absolutely a dream—well-equipped and a great space to cook and gather. • TVs: The only suggestion I’d make is adding TVs to all bedrooms since they’re fairly affordable now. • Cleanliness: The home was clean. This was one of the most fully equipped kitchens I've ever seen! The fireplaces are electric/gas and add a touch of coziness to the rooms. There are quite a few stairs though, something to keep in mind if you have limited mobility. But we appreciate it having rooms downstairs that were separate from the living room where we all congregated. I would happily stay here again!

Check in and check out were very easy. House is spacious, well appointed and the location is amazing. We only wish we had more time and could have stayed longer.

Here are the pros and cons of the property:Pros- Great location - Partial ocean view- Good size for family gathering- Short walk to beach and Fiscalini RanchCons- Smoke detector chirping. Called to replace battery and did not receive a call back. - Dirty windows with bird droppings all over them- Bird droppings all over driveway- Driveway very steep and cars dragged when parking- Tired and dirty furniture- Several of the blinds did not work and could not left/open them- Broken screen - Dirty exterior, including the deck- Hot water did not work on left side sink, in primary bathroom- Twin beds in guest room were credit when sleeping on them

The house was in a perfect location for what we wanted to do. It was clean and well stocked. It could use some refreshing- especially the pillows! The front windows were full of bird poop - impacted the view. Cambria is a cute little place and we loved all the trails and access to the trails from the house.

Rented this home for my 70th Birthday. Family came to visit to help me celebrate. The home was lovely and large to accommodate a little celebration. The kitchen is awesome and plenty of room for those of us who were using it to not bump into each other. The bedrooms very comfortable. Slept well. Plenty of linens and the Kitchen has everything you need and then some. The location is the best. The backyard is the Fiscalini Ranch. Across the street is the ocean. Very lovely views. We had a lot of fun going on Fiscalini ranch walks. Shopping in town and dining was great. I was treated with a glass blowing lesson in nearby Harmony. It was fantastic. It was no problem to reach the Management Co. on the one occassion I did. It was an absolutely wonderful stay in a beautiful home in such a beautiful town.

My family wanted to spend a week together by the ocean. We were a family of 6, including my 6 year old grand daughter. The home is beautifully setup. There are dishes and cooking paraphernalia a-plenty! We had no problem cooking for ourselves and serving meals when we wanted to. We frequent the area of Cambria often and this property's location is perfect to get to the beach or in town for shopping or dinner. There is also several hiking trails that take you along the coast line or in the hills slightly. Being early June, we saw many spouts and fins in the ocean. Not sure if they were dolphins or whales. I even saw one breach! We plan to return to this property again!

Cambria is an annual getaway for several of just-us-girls. This year only 3 of us could make it, but it was still fun. Rummicube afternoons, a puzzle going all week. Cooking for just us girls, not picky family. And this house is perfect for all. We set up our puzzle in the Fiscalini view breakfast nook. This house has a giant dining room table. We kept a game of rummicube set up all week on one end, and kept the opposite end for dinners. And cooking in this kitchen is fabulous! It’s equipped almost as good as my own, we rarely want for anything. Each afternoon we take a walk through the Fiscalini Preserve - it starts just a block up from the house, but also runs all behind the house too. Most mornings and afternoons you can sit out on the deck and watch deer, and birds. The front deck is perfect for ocean view cocktails, as is the comfy living room. We do go out shopping, and occasionally enjoy the sights of Cambria, but coming back to this house everyday is such a treat!
