Our home is a beautiful oceanfront getaway located in an unspoiled Florida fishing village. We are located on the Gulf coast and enjoy both gorgeous sunsets and sunrises year round. We are within walking distance of the historic downtown and famous dock street restaurants and shops. If you are looking for a little relaxation in your next Gulf Coast vacation, you must discover Cedar Key, Florida. Our views of the Gulf are panoramic, our style is low-key, and we want you to kick back, get comfortable and most of all, have a great time!

The Thomas Guesthouse is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home. Our vaulted ceilings and wall to wall windows offer incredible views of Cedar Key's waterfront and nature preserves. If you are a nature lover, you will be mesmerized by the variety of birds and dolphins that feed in front of your private balcony. Throw open the wraparound windows and feel the sea air and breezes gently relax you as you watch a panoramic sunset filled with the most stunning imagery and colors. Enjoy sunrises with your morning coffee and the spectacular colors of the sunsets each evening.

Cedar Key is surrounded by the Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge - a refuge famous for its extensive colonies of nesting birds. Depending on the season you visit, you will see Roseate Spoonbills, White Pelicans, Dowitchers, Willets, Skimmers, Oystercatchers, Frigate Birds, Wood Storks, and many LBBs (little brown shorebirds, from plovers to sandpipers). Always resident are: Great Blue Herons, Little Blue Herons, Tricolors, Great Egrets, Osprey, Bald Eagles, and many others.

Our home is fully furnished and equipped for your comfort and convenience. Besides the fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining areas, we also have a laundry area with washer and dryer.

Cedar Key is perfect for couples or family vacations. Park your car and walk or use a golf cart to visit our restaurants, galleries, boat rentals, shops, and the town marina. Most dining and shopping options on Dock Street are two blocks from the Thomas Guesthouse. Bikes, scooters, and golf carts are also available if you would like to range a bit further. Cedar Key is part of Florida's Nature Coast--the wildlife is abundant. If you are looking to enjoy old Florida without the crowds, come to Cedar Key and relax on our balcony and watch the birds and boats go by. We promise you will not want to leave.

Perfect location. Close to shops and restaurants. Great fishing right from the back patio. Caught catfish, croaker, large red drums, lady fish, a horseshoe crab, blowfish, rockfish and a bonnet shark. Comfortable beds and furniture. Nice decor. Spent each morning having coffee on the deck watching the dolphins. Could use an awning or umbrella for more shade on the deck but otherwise a great place. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

We loved the house and the view was amazing. Lots of parking for our family and boat. We do feel that some upgrades to appliances are necessary but plan to stay there again next year.

The house was beautiful and everything was amazing. The views were amazing, house had everything you need for a lovely stay. The furniture including beds were perfect! It was walking distance to town. We rented a golf art from across the street and highly recommend that! Wish we could move in it was so nice! Especially seeing the dolphins play everyday.

Our stay was over the Memorial Day week. The home and veiws were awesome. The home has a large deck on two sides, which faces the Gulf. There were plenty of seats to use to watch the sun rise and sun sets. The sun sets produced the most amazing colors, especially when there were towering thunderstorm clouds in the distance. If the deck didn't offer enough space, there is ample space below the house on the cement pad. From this spot, you are feet away from the water. Plus a cool breeze was always blowing through. The home has 2 bedrooms, each has their own bathrooms, on the second level. The primary bedroom and bath is on the main level, along with a half bath. There is enough sitting area in the livingroom for 5-6 people. There is also a large dining room table. The kitchen is well equipped and all of the light switched are labled. The house is close to Dock st, the beach and to 2nd st.We enjoyed the house and location so much that we were wanting to rebook it for Thanksgiving. Sadly, it was already taken.

I have seen lots of 10 ratings for properties, but this is truly a 10. The 270 degree view was outstanding. There night sky was amazing. Sunsets, gorgeous. The kitchen was more like one would find in a very nice home, not a rental. The only negative for this 82 year old man was the steps up into the home. We would love to return next year.

I can't say enough good things about this house and the charming little town of cedar key! The house was clean and decorated so cutely! The living area looked out onto the gulf and had the biggest most comfortable couch ever. Really nice kitchen and comfy bed in the master too. I loved how the owners went above and beyond to explain how everything worked and even labeled all the switches so there was no guessing!! The sweet neighbors brought us pastries one morning and another one took our garbage out. Everywhere we went people were super friendly and just glad to have you there!! You are close to many state parks so its a perfect place for nature lovers. I feel like we will for sure be back!!!

The owner told us her property sustained no damage in the recent hurricane. If fact there is no access to the property as the stairs are gone. Owner not offering a refund.

This house is in a prime location as it is walking distance to Dock St., downtown restaurants, shops, etc. It Is beautifully positioned right over the Gulf. It is meticulously decorated and the furniture is very comfortable as well as the beds. It has ample parking. My husband and I, with our two grown daughters & spouses and a nine year old were all very comfortable. Everyone had their own space and bathroom! The host answered all my questions thoroughly and promptly. We stay in Cedar Key quite often and this is the place we will stay from now on with our family.

We just spent two weeks here at this fantastic property. 6/15/2024 - 6/29/2024. This was our first time in Cedar Key. We chose this property as we were looking for pet friendly and large because we had friends join us during our stay and were not sure how big of a place we would need. It was just myself, my wife and our dog so we had lots of room. Large master bedroom on main level with large private bathroom and dressing area. Half bath on main floor with washer/dryer. Two upstairs bedrooms on second level each with private bathrooms. the master and one of the upstairs bedrooms have water view. The second upstairs bedroom has street view. you should not need anything at this place. They have thought of everything. very nice furnishings. The location of this place provides the best view. We saw many dolphins daily and they came in very close to hunt. You can fish right from your seawall however, although there were lots of fish to catch, they are mainly of the catch and release variety. Catfish, rays, sharks, ladyfish etc. We saw some very large leopard rays leaping out of the water very close by. You can easily walk into town but we rented a golf cart for our stay as parking on Dock Street is limited especially in the evening and weekends. The golf carts can squeeze into very small spaces. The owner of this place is fantastic! We had an ac issue and the owner had it resolved same day and it required a motor. Can't say enough. RENT THIS PLACE!

We are frequent visitors to Cedar Key; but this was our first time staying at the Magical Pink House. The location is an easy walk to Dock Street. House has lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful and amazing view. The house was charming, spacious, very comfortable, and clean. It was well stocked with everything we needed - plus some.
