Great relaxing place!
This home has absolutely everything. A remarkable view, wonderful layout, ample amenities, and very kind host. I hosted a wellness retreat with a group of women and it could not have been a better location. Yoga on the waterfront grass, group meals in the gorgeous kitchen, sunset kayaking. It was perfect and we will absolutely be coming back!
My family flew in from out of state to meet my newborn over the holidays, and we wanted to find a large home to stay due to the small size of our home, and Mike’s waterfront home in Vashon was the perfect retreat! The house was large, with plenty of space for everyone to have their own bedroom. We really appreciated the living area with ample seating and the gorgeous views. We were snowed in during our stay, and were able to cook all of our meals in the generous kitchen. Mike was an extremely helpful and responsive host, updating us when the power went out and with other updates before and during our stay. We were very grateful for the generator during the cold weather. We sadly didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub due to the inclement weather, but it looked lovely! I wouldn’t hesitate to book this home again - it truly is a luxury home!
I hesitate to write this as I don't really want this amazing secret to get out too far: this home is perfect. The property, the view, the spaces and the communication of Mike all surpassed our our wildest VRBO dreams. Our visit was just made so comfortable, even in the snow. The home is incredibly clean and has all you need for a lovely vacation. The basement play area was such a bonus for the three little kiddos in our family. We cannot wait to explore the property and the island again when summer comes.
Rainy Seattle weather couldn’t dampen the serenity of this Vashon property The house is perfect for family stay. Mike was the best meeting all our needs
This beautiful home and the amazing views made for an memorable stay with friends. Everything was just as described and the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the owner made the home feel like our own (I wish!).
I stayed at Mike's home for my wedding weekend and it was amazing. Mike was very responsive and personable in his communications. The house was the perfect space for our group and we loved being right on the water. The house had everything we could possibly need and more.
Owner helped us with last minute booking due to smoke challenge at another vacation spot. Heavenly time. Quiet. Fun. Good books on shelves. Dock sitting or kayaking or ambling at low tide. All beautiful.
My family of seven (adult siblings + kids) booked Mike's home on Vashon for our first post-quarantine trip together! The location was beautiful and we spent most of our time outdoors, hiking nearby trails, kayaking in the bay, stargazing from the hot tub, and hunting for marine life. My nieces live in a land-locked urban area, and they were thrilled to see otters, crabs, sea stars, and shellfish. We were beyond impressed by the home's thoughtful details, from small things like binoculars to spot sea life from the deck to a sparkling-clean hot tub to the ultra-efficient air conditioning (which might sound like a small detail, but was critical for keeping everyone comfortable during a heat wave!) We grilled dinner on some nights, and made the short trip to town for dinners and breakfast pastries the rest of the time (May Thai and Snapdragon are delicious.) Mike's house is a must-book, especially for family trips!
