House was fascinating, we loved each room, it was a unique experience like stepping back in time. It was decorated for CHRISTMAS and beautifully done. We got to experience someone’s home that they went to great expense. Home had Coffee, teas, hot chocolate and kitchen had anything we needed to cook. We arrived the 26th of December. We definitely had the snow. There were 7 of us. Some went Snowboarding 45 minutes away 2 days. The home was close to restaurants snd coffee shops, . Went to Cafe Sasso to eat twice and Magnolia’s deli and Cafe which was just 4 minutes from house driving which loved and ate twice. Rented another car from Empire which was around 5 minutes alway. Went to the George Eastman Museum down the road from home. Had few more Museums just real close also. Thank you Cheryl you made our stay leaving with great memories my husband and I will cherish being with my daughter her husband and 3 grandchildren during the holidays.

Wonderful house that easily fit my family for a rehearsal dinner. Comfortably held 20 guests for dinner and we were able to cater in the home. Highly recommend this house for family gatherings or if you need to host an event.

Easy check in. Host sent us code the day before. The house was BEAUTIFUL. I love old homes and this was a treasure. Nice neighborhood, felt safe and walkable. Kitchen was stocked well and we wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the house. We were in town 2 nights for a wedding but would love to come back and enjoy another stay. Beautiful china to use for the dining room also.

She was extremely timely and friendly in all of our interactionsOur entire family had a very comfortable stay in this historic mansion and loved every moment. This is a grand house with large rooms that can accommodate a crowd, as well as intimate spaces available for quiet chats. It is VERY well stocked. Coffee, tea, bottled water, spices, cleaning supplies--EVERYTHING was provided. When ants crept in, we looked for insecticide and sure enough we found it. Communication was excellent, and everything was as described. The neighborhood is a lovely tree-lined area with restaurants and museums nearby. Enjoyed it!

The home was beautiful and well maintained. It was a special treat staying in a grand old home with modern amenities. It was nice to have the room to spread out, relax and be able to make meals and snacks. All linens, towels, kitchen utensils, plates, etc. were supplied (and clean!) as advertised. We stayed a couple of nights to attend a family wedding in town. We would definitely book again and come back to visit everything Rochester has to offer. The host was easy to communicate with and checked in (from the app) several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of parking in a large lot. Lovely neighborhood to walk in. We easily walked to a nice restaurant for lunch one day. Highly recommend! were supplied.

We had been looking for a place to host a family gathering for relatives in the area as my brother and I both live out of town now. What a treat for us all to have found this listing! The place was beautiful, we marveled at the original craftsmanship and the renovations that had been so tastefully done to complement the home. The neighborhood is gorgeous as well, with an excellent Wegmans just down the road and lots of restaurants and activities nearby. My only regret is that we didn’t have time to stay longer to enjoy the place. Just sitting on the front porch on a beautiful summer evening and catching up with family was lovely. There is plenty of space and seating areas for folks to be together in a larger group or to have a smaller, more intimate conversations. We didn’t do much in the way of cooking but the kitchen is outfitted with everything you’d need and more. It’s beautifully furnished and decorated too. Cheryl was a great host with providing information and being in touch in case we needed anything. We are so grateful to her for permitting us to host and stay here!

This home is incredible! The pictures are nice but must see in person. Tastefully decorated and every detail is amazing! There is plenty of room to relax, talk, and even have a bit of privacy. The host answered all my questions (and many were little questions and me just wanting to make sure I thought of everything) and she answered my questions quickly and with kindness and patience! It sits back from the road a bit which made relaxing on the porch a treat. Every bathroom was equipped with nice towels and quality toiletries. There was a very well stocked laundry room with a nice iron and ironing board and a high quality steamer !! The top apartment is the icing on the cake!!! It’s a MUST add !!! The location is ideal. Quick to the highways, safe neighborhood for walking. Quaint restaurants within a block was a treat ! Every detail is covered in this charming historic home. We will be back !
