Luxury St. Simons Island Vacation Rental | Private Pool Near Pier Village

The house was perfectly designed for a relaxed family vacation with three generations: grandparents, kids, and grandkids. It’s a 10 min leisurely walk to the beach one way and to the main shopping area and restaurants the other way. We enjoyed the being able to come and go without having to drive all the time. The house itself had a wonderful central common area for dining, relaxing, and playing games, and the pool was refreshing and a nice break from the beach.

House was filthy and still being cleaned when we arrived. Check in was at 4pm and we entered the house at 4:05pm. Cleaning ppl left the house still not clean (dirt on rugs, floors dirty and not mopped, smudges and food stains on fridge, doors, tables, cabinets, laundry still in the dryer that we had to fold). I contacted vacasa for a refund on the cleaning and was told that I entered the house early. I have proof my location and time stamps on my phone showing that I did not enter the house early. I've contacted them many times now and they are still continuing with their lie that I entered the house early. It's not even about the dirty house anymore, it's the lying. The time they are claiming I entered the house I was literally driving on the interstate. Horrible customer service, filthy home, lying cleaners and property manager. I would not rent this house if I were you.

This was a great place for our family vacation! Great house, walking distance to restaurants and close to the beach!

There were no bad qualities of this property. The house was in pristine condition. The only warning I have is wear footwear on the pool deck or else you can burn your feet.

Really enjoyed our stay at Lazy Oaks! We have 2 grand babies this year, one 16 mos and one 7 mos, so the pool was perfect for us. Great location, perfectly stocked and beautifully done home! First time in St. Simons! We will be back. Renee H

Lovely and very clean home! Definitely rent a golf cart when you’re near - not necessary - but a bonus! Great beach, we frequented the access at Third Street, great shopping, great eateries! Lovely kitchen - pool was a huge bonus! Saint Simons Island was a great vacation!

We loved everything about it - location is completely walkable to town and to beach, even with 4 kids under 5. Loved the 2 king beds for both groups of adults. Pool ledge was amazing for little kids and house was super equipped. We will be back!

House was in perfect location, well appointed and very clean. Pool was clean as well. Loved coffee on the front porch. First time using Vacasa and found it much better than VRBO. We will likely do this home again .

Our family had a great time on our vacation and loved the house. I wish I could pick it up and move it to Tennessee! St. Simons Island has become our go-to destination. We love the laid back feel and that you can walk to most places you need to go. We are already looking forward to our next trip.

The pool is perfect for a family outing, clean and really brings the property up to another level for a family vacation! House is clean, new and nicely appointed and laid out so that everyone can have their own space or get together to share some quality time.
