Luxury Riverside Chena River House River Suite

Beautiful home that was perfect for a couple or small family. The home was spotless and had more than enough things we needed during our stay. If we ever come back to Fairbanks, we'll be staying here again.

My wife and I stayed at this property for 3 nights in late February. It was perfect! It was quiet. Well located: easy and quick to get to and from the main thoroughfares. Beautiful views of the Chena River. The house is very well appointed: the host Tera has basically thought of everything that a guest could possibly want. Comfortable seating area, really comfortable queen mattress and bedding, all utensils, appliances, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Everything was in pristine shape and squeaky clean. Pantry stocked with condiments, oatmeal, ramen, coffee, etc. A welcome bottle of wine! Plenty of bathroom towels, high-end toiletries, washer and dryer with detergent provided. And very importantly, a heated garage! We really enjoyed our stay; we were sad to leave but look forward to coming back soon. Thank you Tera for being such a great host!

I used to Live in Fairbanks, and really enjoyed waking up int he morning looking at Chena River and enjoying the view. The place was perfect for me. I only needed one bedroom but the couch turned into another bed if needed. I didn't cook much there, but there were quite a few snack available and really appreciated the bubbly upon arrival. When I come back again, I hope I can book this place again as it was perfect for me. I happened to run into one of the owners and she was lovely and very friendly. I know if I didn't already know the area, she would have been helpful with suggestions.

Great location on the chena river. Located close to main access roads. The property and amenities were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again...

A fabulous, well stocked property along the Chena River. Incredibly well stocked. AC in bedroom was appreciated. Bathroom shower huge, and kitchen exceeded expectations.

I've stayed at this property multiple times and each time has been excellent. Home is clean, amenities are wonderful, check in and out simple and fast, hosts responsive to any questions or needs. It's such a quiet and serene place to stay but close to anything you might need. Definitely recommend and hope to stay here on other visits to Fairbanks.

Perfect size for 2 people, so cozy! We loved looking right out at the river, especially with the frozen-in-place old steamboat! My son had the bedroom with the closed door and loved it; one night he recorded a moose emerging from the woods across the river on his time-lapse video! He found the bed super comfortable. I need a SUPER hard bed, and the sofa bed was firm but barely okay. The hosts were really helpful, including coming out to help me get an enormous Chevy Suburban in the garage the first night—and helping me realize I soon could do it myself! AND when we missed our flight and needed to find a place to stay one more night, Tera kindly let us stay in another of their properties, also with a heated garage. The bathroom and shower here were great, and I loved the attached extra room/closet! There were no other closets or dressers, but it was enough, b/c we had a GREAT washer and dryer in the apartment that helped me bring less from home and wash often. The heated garage was the main reason I chose this place, b/c I have Reynaud’s syndrome, and it made the winter weather both doable and enjoyable! Thank you SO much, Tera! I would definitely stay in this place again!!

I flew into Fairbanks to watch my sister play a hockey game. Property had a convenient location and felt private . Loved the heated garage

Very comfortable condo for a Fairbanks visit, for folks who will be driving. The heated garage was wonderful, and the kitchen was well-equipped.

It was a great spot and we loved being on the river.

Loved being right on the river. The unit was very clean and the owners were so accommodating. The gas grill was unusable but we worked around that and just used the kitchen stove. We didn’t have great weather, but no one’s fault there! If we ever go to Fairbanks in the future, I would rent this unit again. I loved the wall lights in the bedroom so much, we ran to Home Depot and purchased a set for our log home in Vermont!

This property was easy to access, very clean and well maintained at a beautiful location on the river. I'd definitely stay again and recommend to others!

We had a wonderful time and the location was great. It had everything we needed except a full length mirror would have been nice. We were in town for a wedding and it was difficult to actually see how we looked before we left. Also a small ottoman to pull up to the couch and put our feet up would have been great. We enjoyed watching the kayaks and boat traffic. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Owners obviously care about their guests right down to the Kleenex box left in 2 rooms! Gorgeous view - right on the Chema River, overlooks two small islands and directly across the river an old large paddle boat which still loos attractive and a perfect spot for an evening glass of wine! Inside, spotless, I gave wife and child the bedroom I took the pull out bed from the couch and it was pretty comfortable. Appliances new, garage and everything spotless and comfortable all modern loved it and miss it already!

Such a perfect place to stay! Close enough to do things easily but in a quiet neighborhood right on the river. Peaceful. All the amenities for a home away from home. Love staying here and definitely will stay again when visiting Fairbanks. Highly recommend.
