Welcome to Lejos, a luxurious 135-acre ranch retreat in the heart of Wimberley. Tucked among towering oak trees and rolling Hill Country landscapes, this private estate combines rustic charm with refined elegance, making it an unforgettable destination for families, couples, or groups seeking peace, privacy, and the beauty of nature.

At the heart of Lejos is a custom-designed four-bedroom, three and a half-bathroom home featuring exquisite craftsmanship. From the moment you step inside, you’ll be greeted by mesquite hardwood floors, hand-carved wood doors, and marble accents that set the tone for a stay that feels both warm and elevated. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping Hill Country vistas, while the large stacked rock fireplace in the center of the living room invites cozy gatherings after a day of exploring.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for those who love to cook, with expansive counter space and modern appliances that make preparing meals a delight. Share stories and laughter over dinner, then step outside to sip wine as the Texas sun sets over Lone Man Creek.

The master suite is a true sanctuary, with serene Hill Country views visible from the bed and its own fireplace for added comfort. The en-suite bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub overlooking the creek, a perfect place to soak and unwind as you take in the natural beauty around you.

Guest bedrooms are thoughtfully placed on the opposite side of the home, ensuring privacy for everyone. Each guest room features a plush queen bed, private bathroom, and its own deck for quiet moments of morning coffee or evening stargazing.

The outdoors are just as impressive as the interior. Large back doors open to panoramic views of the Hill Country, where the sounds of Lone Man Creek flow gently nearby. Relax in the private hot tub, wander the trails shaded by massive oak trees, or simply breathe in the crisp country air. With 135 acres to explore, you may spot deer, wild turkeys, or other native Texas wildlife right outside your door.

Lone Man Creek is typically a beautiful, flowing water feature that enhances the peaceful setting; however, like many natural waterways in the Hill Country, water levels can vary depending on rainfall and drought conditions. During extended dry periods, the creek may run lower than usual. Listing photos reflect a range of water levels throughout different seasons.

While the property feels wonderfully secluded, you’re only a short drive from downtown Wimberley, where boutique shopping, local wineries, art galleries, and delicious restaurants await. Outdoor enthusiasts will love swimming at Blue Hole Regional Park or Jacob’s Well Natural Area, kayaking nearby rivers, or taking scenic drives through the Hill Country.

Lejos is more than a vacation rental—it’s a retreat for the soul. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a family getaway, or a gathering with friends, this private ranch offers the perfect balance of comfort, elegance, and Texas Hill Country adventure.

The home is beautiful. The area between the house and the water was pretty overgrown. With more care it could a beautiful property. The master shower was not clean. Many spiders and spider webs around the front door. Seems to need more attention to cleaning. The AC vent upstairs that you can see from downstairs was very dirty. Especially compared with the pictures I based my decision on. The satellite TV tuner box in the second bedroom would not work. Also in the second bedroom the AC unit would not run. After contacting the management, they responded by sending a technician the next day to get it working.

The pictures on VRBO need to be updated to accurately portray the house as is. Both the front and back yards are completely run down and have not been taken care of. We killed about 4 wasps inside the house while there for 2 days. The sink in the downstairs bedroom was molded and rotten to where we were disgusted and did not want to use it. The light above the table made with branch had cobwebs all on it to where you could see them when the light came through the window. The porch swing outside the downstairs bedroom was unable to be used because it was filthy dirty. The hottub had dirty water and looked as if it had not been cleaned in years. There absolutely no water in the river. This house is completely NOT as it portrays online on VRBO.

The house was in need of minor repairs. Rotted window sills allowed in hornets (we killed a dozen inside!) and loose kitchen cabinets, door handles & shower handles. It was nice, but needs work.

Definitely need to update the pictures. The water is nothing near what the pictures show. The house is beautiful, but it wasn't clean at all. My Aunt spent the first hour of her time wiping down the counter tops, sweeping the floors, cleaning kitchen supplies, there was even left over coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Everything that was supplied you have to clean and wipe down. There was cigarette butts found outside and coyote/animal droppings on the patio. If the place is going to charge you for cleaning fees, they need to at least get that part right. The light switches are mis labeled; it was a guessing game every time you flipped a switch what it would turn on/off. There are Bose speakers hanging in the living room but can't use them because they took out the receiver, so they are basically decoration. Overall, I felt mislead by the pictures and overpaid on the cleanliness of the house.

The picture on file is an old pic. There has not been water in that creek for years. Its unswimmable.

Extreme mildew on main room air conditioning cold air vent near ceiling.Broken ice maker and water dispenser on refrigerator. When mentioned to host they wrote back, “I am not seeing an ice maker listed in the amenities, so it may be out of service. Bottom drawer and shelf in refrigerator are broken and droop at about 15 degreesBack doorknob so loose, on verge of falling off. Back double door not secure, could easily be kicked open.Rotting wood on hot tub overhead trellis and on second floor wood deck.Upstairs, small light and fan bedroom switches are mislabeled completely. The cutting board drawer is completely missing the drawer itself. The kitchen sink faucet has a part that looks like it was broken off and never repaired properly.

We stayed at the property a couple years ago and it’s just in need of care. Not clean: Dust on furniture, floors dirty/tacky in a few areas, dog hair (we don’t have pets), outside stone work could use power wash. General maintenance:Broken blind in master bedroom, knob hole upstairs and repaired but not repainted in master bathroom, master bath partially replaced towel hooks, couch coming apart at cushions, refrigerator shelves broken, trash can drawer doesn’t operate properly, back patio double door doesn’t latch properly, wood could use cleaning and restaining, hot tub filter cover doesn’t secure in place. Several wasps in the home and wasp nest in living room ceiling. Outdated internet service and poor Wi-Fi coverage. Could use upgraded service and Wi-Fi extenders particularly with stone and stucco walls. Great place for adventurous kids, hiking and exploring! Easy access to downtown Wimberley.

Absolutely beautiful property, well maintained, civilization near by enough in Wimberly to have all the comforts of home, but secluded enough property/area to really enjoy the hill country wilderness. As an outdoors enthusiast,10/10 would rent again.

Amazing property, location to Wimberly is great, then easy trips into San Antonio and Austin. Quiet, and relaxing. House, actually LODGE is great, amazing architecture. Comfy beds, big bathrooms, everything was clean and as it should be. Hot tub worked great, and was used every night. Nothing bad to say honestly. Loved it.

The house is on a great piece of property with views of a cliff face and creek. The kitchen was fully stocked and the grill was clean and worked well. There was plenty of firewood for the fire pit and the hot tub was great. The house layout is unique and open with a good amount of communal space. Towels, linens, and extra blankets were all in good shape and clean. We had a great time.

Loved the location and the view!! It was comfortable and it was nice being close to town. We stayed in Saturday night; we were having such a nice time at the house that we didn’t want to leave.
