Luxury Oceanfront Home with Pool and Guest House

This is a beautiful home on a beautiful beach. If you are a chef the kitchen is a bit to navigate. Small oven does not fit cookie sheet size pans and big oven took a long time to heat up. stove top was great! Refrigerator was nice to have big enough for our meal prep and we loved the beverage cooler and ice machine! Real Dishes and bowls were limited for our large family of 9 unless you like plastic. Bring your own dish cloths. Bed mattresses are tired but we slept fine. So nice to have a bathroom for each room! Pool is beautiful and hot tub wonderful. Lots of good space for family fun! Bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas and a wagon as there were none to be found to borrow. The decks are awesome!! Thank you!!

Check-in was a breeze! Overall our stay was wonderful. We did have a couple hiccups, the main dryer wasn’t drying for the majority of our stay, a part needed to be ordered which is understandable. There was an issue with the security system and several of the doors were not able to be locked coming into the house. The Wi-Fi was iffy but that could have been due to the fact that we had 14 people! Our biggest complaint was the kitchen was very chaotic, most of the cabinets were very messy and you couldn’t find things. One side of the oven didn’t get very hot which may need to be looked at. A second refrigerator would be nice for large groups. The house could use a very good deep cleaning (windows were very dirty) which again I understand with the turnover of guests. The outside of the house could use a little tlc, missing gutter, stair posts coming apart and drink bucket roping needs replaced. The outside furniture needs a good cleaning or replacement of cushions. I am asking that you don’t post this review for others to see because in the 10 years that we have been taking our family (kids and grandkids) this has been one if the very BEST! The house has lots of room and our granddaughters loved the guest house (they called it the villa)! We played games nightly, did lots of cooking, lived in the pool and beach, went out to dinner twice, shopped, bar hopped and came home with gorgeous tans and lots of great memories! St Simon did not disappoint!

Beautiful property with amazing views of the beach. The hot tub and pool served us well during our stay. The property is a short walk to the beach that was perfect for the younger kids that were excited to explore. The contacts for the property were able to accommodate a few changes that we had and had great suggestions when asked. There was quite a bit of construction going on at the property next door during our stay.

The place was very family friendly. Nice but not too nice that you have to worry about small children. Only complaints would be that the listing said 5 bedrooms and it only had four. The tv in bedroom on the upper floor didn’t work. Overall we all agreed that we’d love to book it again for a longer visit

Family Celebration, the house matched well with our family. We stayed on property for all most the entire visit. Kitchen made it easy to cook for our group. Everyone enjoyed sitting on the porches and playing in the pool. Easy access to the beach. We will be coming back.

We had a great stay. The house has great character and a wonderful layout and sits in a quiet area. Multiple decks for sitting and watching the ocean which is a short walk away. The pool was large and cleaned twice while we were there. Nice backyard and really nice trees. We loved the kitchen! Overall the house was very clean and well equipped. Check-in was very easy and the property manager checked in on us several times. Upon departure, part of our group had a late flight and the property company allowed them to leave their bags in their office. Highly recommended!

The property was unbelievably beautiful, spacious and comfortable, with high quality furniture and finishes complementing beautiful views and good seclusion. The managing agent couldn’t have been more professional and communicative. We have vowed to come for another golf reunion soon to the Island. Top, top, top experience !!

In addition to the spectacular property, the manager was very easy to work with including very fast responses to questions.

It was a beautiful home. We had an issue with the pool not being clean during our stay, as their was a problem with the vacuum and filter system. The bathrooms also needed a little extra cleaning when we arrived, but otherwise the house and location were wonderful. We would have rented again this year had the rent not increased beyond what we would be willing to pay (almost doubled)
