Spacious, clean house! Beautiful views!

The entry with storage cabinets for ski equipment was perfect. We loved the heated floors, steam shower and all of the windows in the master bathroom.The master bedroom was absolutely perfect with a fireplace, two oversized sitting area chairs, the very comfortable king bed, the vaulted ceiling and all of the amazing views. The 3 additional bedrooms and 2.5 baths were well appointed and comfortable. The large living area with a woodburning fireplace along with two other separate living areas created extra space for multiple families. The library/tv room is beautifully dark and cozy with a fireplace and the other living space is off of the kitchen with amazing nature views. Both extra living areas have doors to create more privacy and lots of comfortable seating. Great for large families! The kitchen was well stocked and right in the middle of all the action of the living room and dining room with a huge island. The outside has a huge deck with amazing views and a grand entrance. The driveway is extra steep so it was a challenge for our 4x4 vehicles to navigate the icy climb. Chains can be rented in the neighborhood when needed. The rental company VCR was very responsive to our questions. The ski resort is very close and Durango is about 30 mts away. This home would be perfect in the winter or summer. I would highly recommend this luxury home!

There was an ample supply of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. A lot of rentals do you supply you with enough of these essential items. The house has a beautiful view of the mountains. We went in the summer so we sat outside in the evenings. If you went during the winter, there is a sun room that would have been nice to relax in. The proximity to Purgatory is great if you want to be close to the ski resort. We would definitely return to this house.

The home is recently renovated and came with quality finishes and furnishings. The booking process was seamless and the communication was easy. Our needs were met every step of the way. This is definitely a property that we will book again for our next trip to Durango / Purgatory.

Very close to hiking, mountain biking, and both XC and downhill skiing trails. The kitchen had everything one would need and the atmosphere was homey and relaxing. We regretted not having more time to enjoy the views and comfort of this well thought out home.

We felt like we were living in architectural digest. We love all the indoor sitting spaces. The house has been designed to create so many unique relationships between indoors and out. The wraparound deck offers incredible views during the day and stargazing at night. We loved just watching the light change on the lake throughout the day. One night we sat for a half hour listening to a male and female great horned owl hoot to each other. There was a heat wave during part of our stay, and we greatly appreciated that temps at the house were 10-20 degrees cooler than downtown Durango. The house was comfortable day and night. We are planning a return visit next fall.

This is the second Durango Collection home we’ve rented and both have exceeded our expectations. The house is even grander and more spacious than in the photos. The wraparound balcony offers incredible views day and night. For a summer stay, being above Durango means significantly cooler temps. You’ve got easy access to Durango, Silverton, and many wonderful hikes. The kitchen is incredible if you want to do any cooking. Also the Durango Collection team is so responsive and friendly.

This home was absolutely stunning and extremely clean! It had every amenity we needed. We couldn’t get enough of the beautiful views. Every room captured amazing views. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Durango.
