Stayed May 31, 2024When we first arrived, there was a trashed and broken piece of furniture right at the parking area that had to be stepped over to approach the house, and an old rolled up rug left on the porch. Neither are a big deal, but definitely took away from the welcoming feel and made us a bit concerned about the state if the inside . As a plus, there was an adorable baby raccoon peeking out of the tree when we were unloading. Super cute. The house itself had a good setup, for the most part. It could use more seating in the living room, but we just brought in chairs from around the house. The dining room table was nice and big. The rooms were inviting and pretty. The kitchen was very functional with all the gadgets, but several dishes in the cabinets and drawers were dirty. I also noticed that the basement stairs seemed to have not been cleaned. They had insects and cobwebs on the stairs. We were there during warmer temps and the upstairs was very warm, as with most older homes. Just something to know before you book a stay. The kids had a great time in the basement with the games and tv. There's not a lot of play space outside, so this was helpful. It wasn't a bother to us, but late at night on the weekend there were very loud bikes and cars close by for extended periods of time. This may be disturbing to some. Lastly, it is definitely an older neighborhood with an urban city feel, but overall, this property met our needs.

Stayed May 9, 2024We stayed for Creighton graduation weekend with 6 of us. The home is older so quaint and cute. The water pressure from the shower was out of this world spectacular. I lay out wasn’t quite what I had expected. There was only 1 bathroom with a shower for 6 adults. There were 2 other bathrooms but they were on lower levels and no shower. This was definitely problematic. From a cleanliness perspective, everything typical was clean but the couch was old and had lots of stains. Pretty gross when we gas to spend some time on it. Also as we tried Cleaned up from a meal, the dishwasher may not have been opened for a while because it smelled very strongly of mold and musty. Might want to check that out. Beds were comfortable though no dressers and no hangers in the closets so challenging to get clothes laid out and de-wrinkled. Location was perfect for us. I’d pick a different place if we were to come out again just because of the shower situation. Hosts were immensely helpful and communicative and offered to bring hangers but our schedule was a bit hectic with graduation activities so we declined and laid our outfits across nightstands desks and furniture. Not ideal but worked. Thank you!

Stayed Mar 28, 2023The house was very nice. Extremely clean...I was very impressed. Big House. Would be great for people coming in for the College World Series...close to the stadium. They did a great job remodeling...but I have to see what's on the third floor!! They had everything you need...snacks, shampoo, conditioner and soap. I'm born and raised in Omaha...moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1981 but know the city well. This house is blocks from the Joslyn Castle. My Mom was in the hospital and this house is super close to the Med Center. They only have ROKO...so no live TV...no cable or local channels. **Owners...this is important...would be nice to be able to watch the local news. Other than that, really no complaints. Thank you!

Stayed Aug 5, 2022Well the first night there was no internet so could barely watch tv. The basent toilet was not cleaned. The main level bathroom sink dtained slow. There were lots of cob webs all over. The second night the cops had the street cautioned taped off cause somone got shot i guess. Over all I liked the place bit just seemed like bad luck!
