We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our group — great location, very clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed (including several items I don’t usually keep in my own kitchen). The beds were very comfortable, and the entire space was cozy and well-maintained. It was a great place for 12 of us to gather, relax, and celebrate. We especially enjoyed the wraparound porch — a lovely spot to sit outside, whether in the sun or shade. There were plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors, and the dining space — both inside and out — was perfect for a large group. Chris was a great host — very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely recommend this home to others visiting the area.

We had the most amazing time. The cabin and location we perfect. The village was full of great shops, restaurants and pubs. We will definitely return.

We booked this property for a whole week. The property is amazing, and everyone in my family was impressed with the architecture of the log house. The maintaince is top-notch. All the appliances are very high-end, and amenities are excellent. All 3 floors are fully air conditioned. Mountain views from the property is stunning, and almost every day in the morning, we saw deers in the lawn. We got to see the town's fireworks on the 4th of July from the dining area window, which was an amazing experience and unexpected surprise for us.The location is also excellent and close to the restaurants and other attractions in the area.The owner, Chris, was very responsive and very courteous. He helped us out with any queries and made sure our stay was comfortable.

Excellent space, wonderful view of the mountains, kitchen, hot tub and fireplace were great! Little trouble getting the heat going the first night, but it all worked out well. Would go back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cozy log cabin. We love how they have the house set up. And travelling with a toddler, we really appreciated the built in gates for the stairways, amazing! We enjoyed meals and games around the beautiful dining table. The views were spectacular, especially with the snow falling and the deer trotting across the landscape with Windham Mountain as the backdrop! The construction of the home is amazing! We were a little dissappointed that the hot tub was not fully working for our visit. We made great memories with our children and grandchildren. We enjoyed our hosts travel adventure photos throughout the cabin.

This house was gorgeous! It was just what we needed for our friends getaway. There was everything we could want and I really cannot say enough about the property. We were taking sunset pics every evening...especially with all the colors it was beautiful! We had such a great time chatting at the outside firepit - it was just perfect for us. We brought our own wood but there was plenty there if we hadn't. The only criticisms we could make were that all of the beds were terribly hard. It was a very uncomfortable sleep for everyone. I do not know what type of mattresses they are but if I could recommend one thing to change it would be that. Also, there were loose floor boards by the hot tub which were dangerous and should be fixed. And a couple of doors were hard to open/close as the surrounding door jambs seemed to be in process of being repaired. Chris was a great host. Quick to answer any questions and issues. We had planned on Oktoberfest at Hunter Mountain, which honestly was a disappointment but we had such a great time anyway. We ate at the brewery in town the first night, which was really good. The second night we picked up pizza from town, which was honestly horrible, but being from Long Island we are used to really good pizza. The last night we ate at Brandywine which was fantastic! I hoped this review helps someone out there. We still had a great time and the house overall is great. Thank you!

Stayed here during the first week of October 2024. In sum, this is a quintessential fall getaway home. the location is spectacular, and the house itself is comfortable down to the last detail. Morning sunrises, to evening sunsets just stop you in your tracks. firepit and outdoor fireplace together with outdoor seating offer the perfect setting for an evening BBQ with friends and family with great surroundings. Host is very responsive to any questions, and check-in/check-out were seamless. House was very neat and clean. This is spot we'd definitely revisit in the future.

Our stay at Chris' log cabin was just what our group of guys needed on July 4th weekend. The cabin has all the amenities you could ask for: plenty of space outside for yard games, a hot tub, and a fire pit! Plus, it is practically right in Downtown Windham and within a 15-20 minute drive of many trailheads. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get away from it all and spend some quality time with friends or family. Beautiful home with all the amenities you could possibly wish for. Spotless, comfortable with awesome outdoor space. The hot tub and fire pit came with outstanding views. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!
