Fabulous home with everything you need and more!

Wonderful home! It was well appointed, and the location was great-walking distance to downtown and the Olympic Museum.Megan and Scott thought of everything we could’ve needed, and they were a pleasure to deal with.We enjoyed the fire pit, cooked one night on the grill, and played board games, ping pong, and foosball.The only reason I put in 4 stars on the location rating is because VRBO wouldn’t let me proceed with 5 stars in that category for some reason.Everyone slept well and had a great time. We hope to go back to Lake Placid and this home again.

We had a wonderful stay. Central location to all that Lake Placid has to offer. We highly recommend this expansive and well appointed home on beautiful golf course and mountain panorama our of multi level picture windows and multi level decks and screened-in porches.

Beautiful home! Every amenity you could think of. We really enjoyed the reclining chairs looking out over the golf course and the mountains. Spectacular view! So much to do in the area. The beach and the Wild Center were our favorites.

Wonderful stay at camp Karibu! Beautiful home and great rental for big groups! We had 3 families and everyone felt they had their own space and we were not in top of one another! The home is very well equipped, everything you needed was there (linens, towels, laundry, beach toys, dishes, spices, etc.). In addition, everything is very nice, nothing cheap or flimsy. The enclosed porches and bonus spaces were so great for relaxing and playing with the kids. Short 5-8 min walk to the public beach, playground, and town. Views from the house are gorgeous - Sun rises, sun sets and shooting stars. We had a fantastic time! Would 100% rent again next time. Lastly, host was super responsive and accommodating. She made everything easy and seamless! Thanks Megan!

The house was absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean. It had everything you could possibly want in your own home. Great location. Walking distance to she Mirror Lake Beach, downtown, shops and restaurants. No problem recommending this property.

Perfect in every way! Well-appointed, extremely clean, 5-minute walk to the lake and 10-min walk to town. The porch, the deck, the firepit, and two large family rooms provide all the gathering space necessary to accommodate guests of all ages. The kitchen is a chef's dream. My family loved every minute of our time there.

Amazing house! Everything was clean, comfortable and just as described. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with.

We had an excellent stay at this Adirondack home! The owner was incredibly communicative and prompt, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. The home was just as pictured – spacious with plenty of comfortable areas to relax, play games, and enjoy meals together. The open views across the golf course towards the mountains were absolutely breathtaking. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and take in the beauty of the area. Highly recommend!

Camp Karibu was amazing. This house has everything one could need or want. It is spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed our time together in this wonderful place. We skied, walked, shopped and did local touristy things. Everyone can't wait to go back!!

This was by far the nicest home I’ve stayed in over the course of my many trips to Lake Placid. The house is beautiful, immaculate and fully stocked. Check-in and check-out was simple and efficient and we were provided plenty of information to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend!

The mountainous views and the spacious living quarters provided a most enjoyable and memorable family vacation. Megan, the hostess, could not have been more helpful and communicative.

The home was lovely and had all the amenities we needed. The views of the mountains were spectacular. The location was ideal for walking to town or walking to the beach. Our host was most kind.

My family of 5 loved this house! Everything was perfect. My teens loved the game room, the ping pong table was a huge hit. The kitchen was stocked with spices and cleaning supplies. The location of the house might have been the best part. We were a short walk to Main Street and Mirror Lake Drive. We had an amazing trip and hope to book this house again.
