Whispering Pines Lodge is a 9,400-square-foot retreat that combines luxury, privacy, and convenience. The Lodge, located on the world’s largest chain of lakes in Eagle River, Wisconsin, sits on the last lot of a quiet dead-end road flanked by a forest of birch, spruce, and other species of trees. Upon your arrival, you and your guests will instantly feel a sense of relaxation with the scent of pine in the air through your private entrance with a drive-through portico and additional parking area directly on the property. This scenic arrival gives way to a massive lakefront property ideally situated for a sunset view of Voyageur Lake, creating a Northwoods experience Aldo Leopold would envy. This private residence is also ideally located for quick access to the ATV and snowmobile trail system, a quiet stroll, and good conversation with a cup of coffee along a sleepy Northwoods road just minutes from the National Forest and downtown Eagle River. Two beach chairs, a canoe, and life vests are provided.

You will immediately be transported to the up-north state of mind as they walk through the vaulted front entry and are engulfed in the warmth of local wood beams and stone accents. An expansive living room with 30-foot high ceilings, an open kitchen, and a striking fireplace provide the quintessential setting to unwind and watch the sunset. Whispering Pines helps parents savor their serene surroundings by providing kids with ample activities that will tempt even the most ardent video game enthusiasts into the outdoors. The Lodge opens to a large, flat lawn ideal for volleyball, kickball, and catching a Pokémon.

Privacy is a focus at the Whispering Pines Lodge. The bedrooms offer a reading area or window seat to enjoy the forested views, and every bedroom on the property has an attached bath inspired by a Northwoods spa. A loft and additional common areas also offer the perfect spot to curl up with that book you keep meaning to finish.

A large playground, a circular driveway, multiple pier areas, a covered boat slip, and a sandy beach give kids even more real estate to explore while still being within the sightline and earshot of their parents. When the moment calls, groups can congregate in the sports bar with shuffleboard, a fireplace, electronic darts, and foosball. Watch a movie in the theater room, or enjoy a quiet gathering around the stunning lakefront firepit.

Things to Know
This home is intended for family gatherings. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and are strictly enforced. Noise violations will result in eviction.
All reservations require a copy of the rental terms be reviewed and signed within 72 hours of booking.
This property is managed by Vacasa Wisconsin LLC.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 10 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
