Luxury Lakefront Home: Private dock & outside entertainment areas in resort.

We stayed in the winter! Snowy, frozen lake. Beautiful, clean house with lots of cool amenities. 4 couples stayed comfortably. We used the house as a base of operations and ventured to DuBois and Punxsutawny. We cooked and ate meals, and we played with lots of the toys, watched movies and partied. Walked on frozen Treasure Lake and met a few groups of ice fishermen!

We recently stayed at this lake house with a large group of 15 people. Overall, the location itself was wonderful, and the property had plenty of space for everyone to gather together while still having room to spread out when needed. The fishing nearby was a big hit, especially at Little Flipper Pond, and our youngest especially loved the playset. The home definitely has great potential and could be an amazing stay with some updates and repairs.Unfortunately, there were several maintenance issues during our visit that impacted the experience. Upon arrival, we discovered a shower had been leaking for some time, and there was water throughout the basement area. The owner did come promptly to cap the shower, which we appreciated, but that left our large group with one less shower for the weekend. Afterward, we also discovered the toilet in that same bathroom appeared to be leaking as well.The master bathroom shower had extremely low water pressure and only trickled water out, and the tub handles were very loose. The upstairs hall bathroom had great water pressure, but the fan near the shower was not working. In the downstairs powder room, it also appeared there may have been water leaking under the sink.Because of the water issues, the basement had a very strong bleach smell, which made it difficult to comfortably use that space during our stay. We also noticed mold in the utility closet and game room area. A few other maintenance concerns included a broken pull-out couch

All was as it said it would be. The home was spacious and comfortable.

Frank was amazing! He was very attentive. House was amazing we had a family of 15 and we had an amazing time very beautiful home. We had so much fun.! We would love to visit in the summer

House was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Accommodated with hand soap, hand towels a full stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, glass ware as needed.Wonderful game room was used by everyone in the family! Owner was very attentive with an issue that arose, he was there within a couple hours

Had some issues with water pressure but Frank promptly addressed it.

Beautiful home, lake was drained. But overall a great place. Washer didn’t dry clothes well, but we managed. Would stay again!

Was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. The windowsills inside and outside was very dirty. Cobwebs hanging from kitchen ceiling. Black marks on kitchen ceiling looked like the remains of someone killing flys. Kitchen cabinets were dirty. The cabinet that holds the garbage can had food and dirt in the bottom of cabinet. Provided utensils were greasy. Had to be sure and wash everything before use. Carpet all stained and wrinkled. Stools in kitchen all stained. Sofa in basement stained. 2 plastic white plastic lounge chairs provided for use outside of basement patio both were so dirty they looked almost gray. One was broken and could not be used. Patio was clutter with children swimming googles and other items. Water bottles found in one of the bedrooms under bed. Front porch needs to be swept and webs and dead bugs cleaned away. The house definitely needs a very good cleaning and updating. The only good thing about the stay was how quiet it was. We will go back to treasure lake next year but will definitely select a different house to stay at.

Our overall impression of the property was very good. We were expecting a Luxury home. The house itself was magnificent with plenty of room for the nine of us (5 adults & 4 children ages 6-17). Many of the amenities were well used and needed to be updated (ex: some game room items unusable or in poor condition; poor to no water pressure in some areas if multiple utilities were being used at same time; water temperature was difficult to regulate [extremely hot w/shower control in master bedroom] & basement shower had hole in floor that was taped over). The area itself was very beautiful with deer freely roaming. We were disappointed that the lake was totally drained, even though we were told, but mistakenly believed there was water to use in close proximity of the house without driving several miles. The host was gracious to transport kayaks for use to nearby Bimini Lake, but we had to be escorted & checked in to be able to use lake, and would have to pay to use beach or main pool (KOA pool was free). Although we had to drive several miles for any off property activities, we found time to draw closer as a family and enjoy sitting out at night with fireplace, watching the stars, cooking out, watching movies, and just relaxing. When the lake is filled and the private dock can be used again, and some updates and repairs made to the house, this property would be a 5 Star Luxury rating.

Host was friendly and easy to deal with. Property was nice and the resort very quiet. No issues. Scenery and wild life was nice. Would stay again.

Loved everything about it Frank was easy to get a hold of looking at coming back next year.

Great spot for our three families to stay together - lots of space to spread out, variety of things for kids to do.

The interior and exterior were as advertised and well received by young and old family members for our 3-generation vacation. It had many elements to make this enjoyable for all. We hope to return someday.

Overall an excellent property. The yard and bottom patio could use some cleaning up, and there was no mention in the property description that Treasure Lake was lowered and not useable.

Very nice house with big flat back yard.

Booked this house last minute due to a death in the family - needed something quick with room for multiple family members. We had family that traveled from several different states - no one was local. After traveling / taking care of funeral arrangements the last thing we would have thought we would have to deal with was a rental with no towels provided, no laundry supplies or starter shower supplies. We had to go purchase towels for the family to use after a very long day in a snow storm. Yes it is stated in the description under activities where you would not really look for such a basic requirement. Owner was slow / not responsive to several items - such as us letting him know there were items in the refrigerator. Would not recommend unless you are local and can bring your own towels. Who stays at a lake house that can sleep 16 people & plans to pack towels. Roads in neighborhood were not taken care of very well in the winter weather.Only 1 key provided for house - need to update to a keyless entry so that multiple people can access the property if they aren't all together.Some updated information including snow removal and heat information in the welcome book would be helpful.

We were looking for room and entertainment over the New Years holiday. We found both in this property. If we do this again, we would absolutely go back.

Nice family friendly property

Very comfortable plenty of room to slip away for a nap yet when everyone got together in the kitchen slash family room there was plenty of room for everyone

This is our fifth year staying and every year all my questions are promptly answered. Everything is exactly as advertised, already looking forward to next year
