Luxury home with private pool.

Roomy but needs attention (-) Roomy, but the property is not maintained for seamless use of the home. We rented this house mostly for the pool and hot tub. We found out the hot tub didn’t work when we arrived. This could have been disclosed because ends up, they have been looking for parts. The pool was not heated as requested in time to use on arrival day. It was finally heated by the second day. There is no regular coffee pot, no hot pads or even baking sheets in the kitchen. Several other maintenance issues (non-working outlets, clogged drains, broken ceiling fan, sliding shower door off track also noted by previous guest). This property needs some TLC and better communication from the host.() Large gathering areas for good group conversations. Good location to all The Woodlands has to offer. Safe and well maintained neighborhood.Key note: if you think you’re going to need it during your stay, you better bring it with you.

This property was amazing! The mattresses could use updating and there could be more pans for baking but otherwise, everything was great. We rented the property for a relaxing getaway and it provided that. The pool was refreshing and made the property!

Upstairs A/C failed to keep up with heat. Even though it wasn’t that hot. Many things need attention. And amenities are sub par. There were maintenance issues - the garbage disposal was broken upon arrival and took a day to get it replaced. Owner/manager refused to call me. Only communicated by chat. With long delay times. The Master bed mattress sags and is terrible. Many lamps are missing light bulbs. There is a lack of towel bars to hang towels. There was no extra towels. Only one bath towel per person for the entire stay. Really?The shower doors upstairs come off track. There are no toilet paper holders in two of the bathrooms. There is a lack of tissues and dispensers. Lack of waste baskets. Very few hangers in closets.No regular coffee pot No Hot pads.No Containers for leftovers while here. No Chip clips. No mixer.No mixing bowls No serving platters No laundry soap or dryer sheets.No ironing board or iron.BRING WHAT YOU NEED because they probably won’t have it. Now for the good. Furniture was nice and comfortable. Great for family gatherings. Pool was great. Outdoor kitchen was good but we needed to clean the grill before using it.

The house was great. The master bed needs a serious upgrade.

Let’s see, I got there and the house was 56 degrees. I got the thermostats on and set to 70 - the downstairs would not go above 68, the top reached 88 so I turned it off and needless to say, didn’t go back up. I grabbed groceries to cook dinner which I prefer vs eating out (I travel a lot). When it came time to prep and cook, I realized there was no water in the whole house. I tried connecting with the host via VRBO, no response. I called, no one picked up or called back. I then sent a text which was answered after 5 mins or so. 45 mins or so later the water was on. The host had nothing helpful to say about the thermostats except I need to wait…not helpful. I then asked about an ironing board and got the response look around…not sure we have one. Kitchen is not well equipped to cook. The stove is induction and the large pot they have doesn’t work so I needed to cook in multiple pots which wasn’t ideal. Fireplaces would have been nice as it was cool (and I had to turn the therm off) but no remotes to turn on. I have stayed in quite a few VRBOs and it is clear this home isn’t ready and more importantly the owner isn’t ready. I would look elsewhere.
