Beautiful home and definitely a new favorite! The view is perfection! We also enjoyed using a “real” fireplace each evening. The owners certainly take pride in their home and it shows. Beautifully decorated and detailed instructions and labels for ease of use. We enjoyed seeing deer each morning as they made their way to the clearing down below. We hope to be back when our adult kids can join us!

Sweet Home Carolina was amazing. I have been coming to the Waynesville area annually for 40 years and have stayed in numerous homes all over the Waynesville area. This home wass by far the most beautiful, cleanest, and most well equipped of all the homes that I've stayed in. And to make matters even nicer, the owner, Doug, was excellent to deal with. Thanks, Doug, for everything!

As always this home was well prepared for our visit! We have stayed here several times and are impressed with how the owners continue to update and make improvements with this property! Waynesville is always a pleasure to visit - this time was the Apple Festival, Barber Orchard, our favorite restaurants and a new one this time - The Red Fox on Russ Avenue. We look forward to a return!

Gorgeous well appointed property with fabulous mountains view and wonderful location for easy access to shops etc! Very responsive owner to questions, easy check in. We enjoyed using the grill and sitting in the egg chair on the deck to take in the most lovely sunsets!

This house is truly a gem. We loved our time here in this wonderful home located so close to downtown Waynesville. The mountain views are stunning, the house has a great and well stocked kitchen, is very clean and well appointed. This was our second visit and we will be back!

It was our 2nd year at this property and it was an absolutely wonderful experience just like last year. The home was exactly as described and came with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and everywhere else. We will always choose this place above any other if available. Thank you for allowing our family a great vacation spot.

From the moment we walked in the door we knew we were in for a treat. This beautiful home was one of the cleanest and most organized homes we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a number, and used to have a VRBO rental ourselves. The flow from the sitting area overlooking the mountains through to the fireplace into the kitchen was calming. You will find attention to details everywhere you look. It rained most of our short stay but we enjoyed the house so much it didn’t really matter. We will be back.

The vaulted wood ceilings, open kitchen/den, and tasteful décor added so much charm, while the spotless cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere made relaxation effortless. **Highlights** **Stunning outdoor spaces** – Enjoyed morning coffee with mountain views on the patio, evenings by the fire pit under the pergola (off the master bedroom!), and lazy afternoons in the cozy front seating areas to watch mountains and sunset. **Fully equipped & comfortable** – The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were dreamy after long days of hiking. **Prime location** – Just a short drive to Waynesville’s adorable downtown (don’t miss the boutiques and restaurants!) and easy access to hiking trails. A highlight was dinner at *The Ranch* in Maggie Valley—so delicious! ** Great Host** _ Doug who emailed lots of activities and answered all the questions! This home truly has it all: tranquility, style, and proximity to adventures. We’re already planning our next trip back—**it’s a gem!!

We stayed at this incredible mountain home in Waynesville recently for 10 days. It's obvious that a lot of thought went into the planning of this home. The view of the mountains from the deck was wonderful and the back yard gardens were inviting. The interior design of the house is perfect for the mountains and the owners have exquisite taste that is exemplified in the furnishings throughout. We especially loved the motorized recliner chairs while watching TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for any kind of meal. Beds are comfy. We would definitely love to come back to this property. We enjoyed the community of Waynesville - only wish it hadn't rained so much! Downtown is a short distance away.

Exactly as promoted and exactly as we remembered having stayed here a few years ago. Well appointed house, wonderful view from the deck and less than 5 minutes drive into downtown. Would actually be walkable to town except for the steep climbs. Had a great time and will be back for sure.

What a fabulous retreat from the heat this was!! A wonderful home in a beautiful setting, with all the amenities one could ask for!! The deck and back patio were especially enjoyable for our group, as was the large open living space in the center of the house. Plenty of room for gathering and laughing!! We made some wonderful memories at this memorable location and plan to return to make many more!!

This house was wonderful. It is very convenient to the downtown stores but located on a hilltop overlooking mountains. The house is beautifully and tastefully furnished. The front of the house has an open floor plan with a huge great room, kitchen, and dining area. There is a laundry off of the great room which was very convenient The kitchen was well stocked. And there are plenty of bath towels. The house was spotless. We loved the deck and its view of the mountains and the 2 patios in the back, which allowed plenty of quiet areas and privacy. It would have been nice to have an extra a 1/2 bath, but I knew this in advance. All in all, this house is a gem!!

This home was perfect! Every detail is covered. The furniture and decor was comfortable and beautiful. All the cooking supplies were provided . It was wonderful. I home to return again.

This was our first VRBO rental and we couldn't have been more pleased. Not only was the house beautifully appointed, the views across the valley were spectacular. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, yet the location is relatively close to shopping and good restaurants.The owner, Doug, was quite responsive on those few occasions when we needed some assistance in dealing with the unfamiliar cable syster,
