Luxury Designer Home on Golf Course

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at this property. Katie was a wonderful host. This house is immaculate, and beautifully decorated (the homeowner is an interior designer). This home was the most high end home I have ever rented and has everything you could want or need during your stay. From pool towels and pool toys, to a Sonos stereo system inside and out, bidet and steam shower in the master. I’m telling you, this house is great!

We had a wonderful time with family and friends as we celebrated my sons college graduation. This home is immaculate and tastefully decorated with a beautiful backyard we all enjoyed.

We spent the weekend with another family with kids and truly enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you need and more. I highly recommend! Harald

We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous and beautiful home. My family and I enjoyed the huge space that was very family friendly! My toddler son loved the pool and the playground. Many thanks to Katie for being so pleasant and quick with any questions we had!

Lovely house that was great for my family to get to be together and have some fun. We basically set up camp - cooking, hanging by the pool, playing games, grilling, and it was the perfect place for that. Katie is responsive and on top of everything.

This place has it all! It was spotless and we were confident that Covid precautions had been followed. It was spacious, and since it's the primary residence for the homeowners, it really had everything we could need for our month-long stay. My kids loved all the toys, books and games and having the big 'homework room' as we called it at the back to keep all their arts and crafts, workbooks, etc was a dream. The master bath was heavenly and all the beds were comfortable. My husband worked in the back room which was off of the garage and the kitchen. There was a desk in there which was nice and overall he did fine, but it obviously would get noisy if the kids were loud in the kitchen/main room. There are plenty of pocket doors throughout which did help to keep the noise blocked a bit. The stereo system throughout the house and outdoors was great, my husband loved the Traeger too. The yard is huge and gets plenty of shade at different parts of the day. The kids loved shooting hoops in the driveway, playing in the playhouse, swimming on the big swing, riding their bikes around the neighborhood and of course, swimming. It's a nice view with the golf course too. A pool heater was installed right as we arrived and I'm not sure if it was on or not, but the pool temp was 85 degrees which was right where we wanted it. There is no pool cover but they have a fence you can put up if needed. The pool looks small in the photos due to the angle but it was plenty big in person and the deep end is really deep. We used the hot tub a couple of times and all worked well. We had what we needed in the kitchen, a Vitamix, there were plenty of condiments in the fridge already, etc. We had never been to Chico before and typically would've gone somewhere a bit closer to home but we were pleasantly surprised with all there was to do outside. We hiked in Upper Bidwell Park, drove up to Lassen, rented a boat at Oroville, swam in Sycamore Pool/creek downtown and went to the farmers market. It really was the perfect place for our family to continue our social distancing. I'd maybe recommend cleaning out a drawer in each of the closets for guests' use and a blowdryer would be nice, but we really had a great trip and Katie was helpful in addressing any questions that came up during our stay. The backyard is heaven for kids. Great pool, playground and tree swing. An awesome place to relax for the whole family with the outdoor BBQ and views of the golf course.
