I loved the property, Immaculately kept, absolutely gorgeous and would love to stay here again. Whoever decorated and the little details bring joy and inspiration, down to the positive affirmations and the furnishings and even having spices to use to cook in the kitchen. I cannot wait for another staycation. A few things to improve are to turn up the hot water, could not figure out how to do that. Also the power went out to the upstairs bathroom when I stayed there and stayed off the entire night and following morning til checkout. Maybe label which circuit on the circuit breaker to flip to get it back on. The biggest issue is the parking; it is a very inconvenient driveway and if even 2 cars are parked there it is very hard to maneuever and get out and I think there should be one spot that is marked for handicapped and unloading and designated for the Carriage House as this parking is most logically located right next to Carriage House. People kept pulling in and out and backing in and out of driveway which is kind of dangerous as they saw no spots are available. I would designate one spot for Carriage House at least and one for Primrose and not allow further parking. Stripe it with paint for these spots. The pavement leading from street to driveway is great but then drops off very steeply and unpleasantly into gravel which makes backing out into the street very dangerous and stressful. Please take these ideas about clear striping and designated signage into mind.

Had problems with water heater, but host was very responsive. Listing said there was a washer and dryer on the property, but they did not have one, the host did allow us to use the one next door at the bed and breakfast, just not very convenient. Could have used a few more plates and silverware.

Didn't like having to go get a key down the road and dropping it off after visit. Should tell visiters they are sharing the parking lot with ours. There was dog hair in our bed. The place was nice and it was very nice to have a garage to park in.

The place was clean and comfortable - a great location for a wonderful visit to the Hocking Hills area with family! There were plenty of recommendations about things to do and places to eat, many of which we took advantage of. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. The listing stated that there was a washer and dryer but there were not. The hosts stated that this was an error in the listing which would be fixed. The only other issue we had was the water heater that went out while one of us was showering. But it was working again the next day, so not a major issue. In all, we’d definitely consider staying here again the next time we’re in the area!

This property was sufficient for what we needed it for. We were attending the Nelsonville Music Festival so we just needed a place to come to at night. It's located right off the main square in Nelsonville and you can easily walk to the restaurant and bars in town. The house was clean enough, but not deep clean. There was a lot of dirt/dust along the baseboards. As other guests have mentioned, they don't provide any soap or shampoo for the shower so make sure to bring your own. You will also need to pickup and return the keys to an office about a mile and half from house. There is no central A/C so they have 2 window units upstairs and one downstairs in kitchen. Also as mentioned by other guests, the hot tub is shared with the B&B next door. We didn't use it because it was 90 degrees out, but probably wouldn't even if it was cooler. There were weeds growing up all around it. In fact, there were a lot of weeds in all the beds. We would consider staying here again but would also look for other properties first.

Loved our stay at the Carriage House! It was so pretty, clean, cozy, and just right for a long weekend mother daughter trip! The only thing I would suggest for future guests is to add the hot tub is shared between the properties. We did not feel comfortable going to the other house to access it as it was so close to the other home. We appreciated the quick response and assistance to access hot water, along with the follow up the next morning. Thank you so much!

The cottage was not luxury. It has adequate living space and kitchen facilities. The beds were comfortable. That is where the positives end. There were no amenities in bathroom. Cottage was in a run down neighborhood with shacks as views. We thought we were staying in a cottage in beautiful Hocking Hills. The property was old and outside unkept, paint peeling, weeds everywhere. Hot tub was shared with B&B next door and you had to walk across a parking lot. The remote control on the TV did not work an when we finally were able to communicate with property manager we were told that the housekeeper was aware that it did not work. I spilled water on the floor and when I wiped it up the paper towel was black with dirt. The VRBO description did not match the actual. Would not recommend.

The communication ahead of the trip was prompt and very attentive, until check in. I did not understand that we were going to the Business for the Key. We arrived and left thinking something was wrong only to have to circle back 10 minutes later. Perhaps this could be clarified in the communications. Place was very clean and tidy, comfortable! ** Significant Earwig bug problem. ALL OVER and even In the couches!

The place was very clean. It was chilly at first but the heaters made it very comfortable. Great location as well.
