Luxury Cape Cod on Tranquil, Tidal, Sandy Beach, Beds up to 12, Close to Seattle

The house was fantastic. We really enjoyed the beach and hot tub as well as the views of the Sound. The host was quick to respond when I let them know that we weren't getting hot water in one of the buildings. Someone came quickly and took care of it.

House was pretty clean, kitchen had almost everything we could need to cook aside from a croc pot, and plenty of seating and rooms for everyone. An additional tv in the downstairs living space would have been nice to have more room to watch the game, but outside of that everything was great. Views were absolutely amazing from inside and outside of the house.

Wow! Our family had a wonderful three night stay at this beautiful beach house. It is such a great space, very comfortable - everyone had room to spread out and relax. We all really enjoyed the game room, that was such a nice bonus. The water views are beautiful and one morning we saw an otter. All of the bedrooms are spacious and fabulous, The upstairs 3 bedrooms share one bathroom, but we made it work. Overall, an absolutely wonderful place for our family - thank you so much Nancy/Corinnea for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful property, perfect house, and fantastic host!

We enjoyed a fabulous family vacation with 10 people at this beautiful Whidbey Island beach house. It was clean, gorgeous inside & out, with incredible views of the sound. Our kiddos enjoyed shell finding on the beach each day and playing in the awesome game room! Plenty of beds/baths for a wonderful family vacation

The property was amazing. Everything we expected.

Beautiful home right on the water. Plenty of room for 7 ladies having a quilt retreat. Loved watching the tide go in and out. Lots of bald eagles and tide pool sea life. Lovely comfortable home.

This stay was a belated family get together to celebrate the holidays. The size of the house and its amenities were more than adequate for our family of 9. The game room kept the kids (and adults) busy during our rainy weekend. We saw plenty of eagles and seals from the large picture windows to pass the time. As other reviewers have noted, be aware of the detailed instructions provided prior to check-in. Some adults in our group were very opinionated about the “lights out rule” in the stairway and media room after 10pm. This to avoid disturbing the neighbor, otherwise this neighbor will notify the host/owner, since the lights shine into their bedroom. The owner should consider adding blackout curtains rather than create restrictions for renters. In addition, things you’d expect to be in a “Luxury Cape Code” fell a little short...CD player in the living room didn’t work and the coffee machine had a habit of spitting water everywhere. Like many real estate listings, some editorial freedom is used in the rental description when compared to what you get. The house is starting to show its age...chipped window casing and ceiling panels separating are examples. However, in the end these negatives were just annoyances and not a problem. We are long-time residents of the PNW and Whidbey Island is a place we keep coming back to. While we enjoyed our time together, would we come back to this house? Probably not. We’re still looking for that perfect place for our family retreats.

We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this house. It had a great layout and the views from both floors were amazing! The multiple bedrooms were comfortable and I appreciated the empty drawers and hangers in each room so we could unpack. The kitchen was nice to cook in. It was an older community with a set of neighbors that didn’t look too sure about having guests next door. We tried to be quiet and respectful but if you’re a loud group this is not the place for you .

A perfect place for a family retirement celebration weekend with plenty of space to spread out over the rainy weekend. So many nice features, including big living room and separate TV room with plenty of comfortable seating, big garage/game room, comfortable beds and beautiful views of the water. Kitchen and dining area were spacious, too, and very well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed using the Limoges china for our gourmet dinner, too!

We had a great time at the house. There was plenty of room for our party of 8 to spread out. The views were amazing and the description of the house was very accurate. We had a great time in the game room and did a fire in the fire pit each night.
