Stayed Dec 23, 2023Vernon and his wife were wonderful and very responsive and detailed about making our stay special. They put a lot of effort into making sure we were comfortable and knowledgeable about our stay including upcoming weather. Vernon kept up with the shoveling to make sure we were safe. The house was clean and spacious and had a lot of areas for all of us to have our own space but also enjoy communal times. The only thing I would point out is that our friends and I have dogs and there is only a little open area on the side of the house to walk the dogs but since this building is located on a main road it is not safe to walk the dogs down this road, especially in the winter (snow, ice etc). If your bringing dogs, and your used to walking your dogs a little longer than just taking them outside, then be prepared to drive to the local hiking spot (not far) if the weather permits, or to drive to the town to walk around. An amazing stay would recommend highly!
