The home had plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably, and the outdoor area with a TV was a huge hit for hanging out and watching sports. The location was perfect, and we truly could not have asked for a better weekend

Reviewer Comments: This was the 3rd house we’ve stayed at in Beach walk with our 3 generation family annual vacation. We loved how close it was to the beach & the pool. We couldn’t enjoy the outside areas because of the smell of cat urine, because someone is feeding all the stray cats(& raccoons)next to the garage. Inside the guest house smelled like cat urine too.

This is a game like tennis but one where any number can play and the ball is hit more than once on one side of the net. Sometimes more than one ball is in play!

My family absolutely loved it and I’m so so grateful for the experience! However, there were some issues. The first being the beds. The fold out sofa bed upstairs in the guest house is completely lopsided, one of the queen mattresses in the basement is also completely worn in and lopsided, and a trundle bed upstairs is broken. We lost a lot of bed space and I’m thankful one cousin and her family didn’t make it or we would have been in trouble. It’s also confusing why there are trundles in the room when you can’t really fully open them. The organization of the bedrooms could be improved a bit.Second being the INTENSE smell of cat urine in the guest house. For some reason, the owner has the garage door propped open for all the stray cats in the neighborhood. This would be totally fine if the home didn’t reek of cat pee. It’s very off-putting and hard to be in. The freezer in the main house stopped making ice. 2 lights are burnt out in the kitchen ceiling. Sink in downstairs bathroom is leaking. Towel holder in the upstairs bathroom fell off the first hand wash of the weekend. Water filter light in the guest house is red. Middle burners of the larger grill don’t light.Overall we might try another home in the same area unless some of those things get fixed.

The pull-out couches had not been cleaned or inspected in a while, but everything else worked great. Management was responsive to bringing over cots. Great trip!

The table, tennis, pool table, and foosball helped a lot with the fact that it rained one day. The fishing after dinner was a hit with all the kids & they all caught at least one fish. Pool was great on the hot days. Kids played basketball & enjoyed the park. We didn’t have beach towels which were supposed to be included but the staff provided a few more towels. Nice to have an outside tv. The photos were a little misleading. The living room space on the first floor is very small for 20 people. Thankful for the covered porches. We suggest putting some of the tables from the second floor porch on the first floor so people can eat there. Some sleeping rooms did not have enough covers. We had a wonderful family vacation. Thank you.

It was nice to be right across the street from Lake Michigan and a short walk or golf cart ride down the short road to the resort clubhouse, Lake Kai, and other resort activities. This resort is super family friendly! Our kids ages ranged from 2-12 (6 kids total), and everyone was able to find things to do.
