Luxury beach vacation - Ocean view bright and fun

The house is beautiful, exactly as shown in the pictures and in a great location.

We stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. The location couldn't be better; we loved walking to the beach and to one fun restaurant. The house was immaculate and easy to maintain. We made good use of the balconies, which have terrific ocean views. The layout was great, and even though my husband had several work calls, I could spend time in a different area without hearing him. I truly appreciated that the very friendly and responsive host allowed us to have two small dogs and (unlike many other vacation rental hosts) did not issue a single fussy warning about keeping dogs off furniture. But dog owners should be prepared for a major challenge: There's no garden at all. We needed to accompany our dogs outside again and again (as one was having chemo-related problems with peeing and pooping), and it was quite inconvenient to leash them each time. We used three portable planter boxes to create a barrier so the dogs could be leashless without escaping to the street. This worked, but whenever another dog passed by while ours was doing her business, she became all too interested and posed a flight risk. Manhattan Beach is so densely built up that practically no one has a garden, and we love the area, so we would probably overlook the matter and return to this house. But I did want to warn people about this issue. Also, the bed in the master bedroom is REALLY high, so our dogs couldn't jump on or off. But this is often true in rental houses for some reason.

We've rented multiple properties in Manhattan Beach, and this one was really great. Ala's comms were clear, specific and fast - exactly what we needed. The home is in an excellent location, has everything you'd need and more. Manhattan Beach homes can be tough for parking, we parked a Volvo XC90 in the garage with no height issue. Just had to be careful opening the trunk, but no big deal. The place is super clean, a few tired things here and there but nothing important. We will definitely book again, thank you Ala

Perfect house, perfect location for our family vacation. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the lovely walks along the Strand. Ala was so easy to work with. We definitely created many precious memories.

Excellent communication with Ala before our arrival and during our stay. A friend joined last minute and he added a beach chair for her. When we arrived, we asked for a refresh on the downstairs bedroom area b/c it was dusty and it was addressed immediately. Location is perfect for the beach and walking to the Strand, restaurants, shops, etc. Garage had lots of beach equipment and toys, kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Thank you for making our trip to the Beach memorable!

This was a truly special rental. Proximity to the beach, view from the top floor living room, all the beach supplies, bikes, and overall experience was top notch. Highly recommend Ala's home if you are looking for a stylishly furnished and spacious place to stay close to the beach, easily walkable to downtown Manhattan Beach, and with a beautiful 3rd floor outdoor patio with ocean view and gas fire pit.The kitchen was unusually well stocked with supplies for a vacation rental, which my family appreciated. We all loved the bed quality and plush linens, but guests should consider bringing eye masks for sleep as early morning sunlight does come into the bedrooms through the window shades. Guests will also love that there are several bikes in the garage to ride, as well as two boogie boards, a few surfboards, beach toys, towels, even extra sunscreen.Ala might be the most responsive host we have ever used on VRBO. After our daughter left a stuffed animal underneath the bed covers after our departure, I txt'd Ala about this later in the day, and Ala found the purple hippo and put it into the mail to send back to our house the next day.

Ideal location with plenty of room for a family. Easy walk to the beach, shops, restaurants. Ala was a wonderful host with clear and timely communications, recommendations and genuine care.

Beautiful house and perfect location! Everything you need is walking distance and easy to get to. My family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to go back longer next summer. The house has everything you need and is very clean. The host is very responsive and does anything you need to make your stay perfect.

This 3rd annual Manhattan Beach trip was by far the BEST! :) The largest contributing factor was Ala’s home, hospitality, and how well he’s fully stocked home with all the unique luxurious amenities, cleanliness, and the fact of all the good energy in the home from the TLC Ala’s put into it. There is NOT one thing that we went without during our stay… from BBQing on 3rd floor balcony, sunset/beach views, fire pit, 4 bike ride, all beach necessity’s from 8 chairs, surfing/boogie boards, beach toys, and the outside strong warm shower to rinse off. So much more to list. We’ll be back again!!

I will start this by saying that my wife is a bit difficult to please…and this stay impressed even her. We booked this stay nearly one year in advance. The host was amazingly attentive before, during, and after our stay. We were initially concerned about comfortability considering we would be bringing our 1-year-old and 3-year-old. This turned out better than we presumed though. We were provided all the necessary resources such as washer/dryer, extra towels, crib, pack n play, and very sturdy baby gates.Proximity to the beach, as well as the view from the house, was incredible and having the wagon and extras available was a huge plus as we traveled from across country. We walked to most shopping and restaurants. There were plenty of breakfast and lunch options nearby, as well as a chill and fun nightlife down the street. There was also a great park 2 blocks away to get our kid’s energy out.Host was very communicative, provided tools and resources, followed up about our comfortability and service, and offered great suggestions. Rules to the house were simple and beds were extremely comfortable with only the best products being utilized at the house. We had 4 adults and 2 young children housed comfortably. My wife says that we will be booking this VRBO again. Highly suggested. Pictures don’t do it justice.

This was our 2nd time staying here and I know it won’t be the last! This home is beautiful and perfectly located. Ala is awesome to work with and makes sure you are taken care of while you are there. I would highly recommend you to choose this as your location to stay while in Manhattan Beach.

First of all, the communication with Ala was great. Second, the house was/is perfectly equipped with everything you could want or need. The beds are cozy and everything is within walking distance. Lastly, I would stay here again and again. AND I’d highly recommend this place to family and friends.

There is only one word that could describe our week long stay and that is house- PERFECTION. My husband and I cherished the week we spent with our 3 grown children and their significant others (one couple lives in MB and did not stay at the house but having two parking spots made it so easy for them to come to the house).The house's well appointed kitchen made cooking hassle free as sitting together around a dinner table is what I cherish. Gorgeous amenities- bathrooms, beds, and furniture all lovely. The view and outdoor firepit area can't be beat. Walk to the beach and town gave everyone freedom to explore. Ala was wonderful as well. We didn't have many questions or need much but Ala was quick to reply when we did. Knowing he was available set my mind at ease.If you rent this house you won't regret it. We have used VRBO all over the world and this is now at the top of our return to list

This is our second time staying at the property (so of course we like it). It has everything going for it — fabulous location — a couple blocks from the beach/strand and easy walking distance to pier, restaurants, and shops; updated and attractive; ocean views; nicely decorated; beautiful top floor whether you are cooking a family meal, dining, watching a family movie, or sitting on the terrace with drinks around the fire pit and watching the sunset over the ocean; nice bedrooms with privacy; parking for three cars; and quiet location. We are regular visitors to the MB area and we just really think this is a great property. Also, Ala the host is terrific. Super friendly, responsive, and helpful.

The house was great. it is well appointed and wonderfully located. Manhattan Beach is a great winter beach. We enjoyed our stay. Ala, the host, was so responsive, checking to see that all was well. All was very well!

We used the home as a base of operations for a college football game and sightseeing. Great property for all purposes. Really enjoyed it. Very efficient job by the host.

If we could give our stay ten stars, we would. The spotless house, amenities and location were even better than hoped. Our host, Ala, was gracious and immediately attentive to our needs and questions. If you want a great experience enjoying Manhattan Beach and surrounding area, this is the place.

Beautiful property with beautiful view. love how the balcony sticks-out allowing more expansive views as we all hung out and enjoy our time together. There are surfboards, boogie boards and bikes. The amenities were high end, BBQ, toaster/air fryer, Viking stove and oven. Definitely would come back! Thank you Ala for your quick responses and for the wine and bottled waters.

This house had everything a person could desire while staying in manhattan beach. Great location, great view, good space. Best of all the house is well stocked with everything a family could need. Such a nice surprise. Thank you for beingsuch a professional host.
