Luxury Apartment. House with character

Lovely house, with a few tweaks that could be done concerning comfort.

It was a nice place in a beautiful area.Everything was close.Kids was so happy

Nices rooms, good location directly behind the boardwalk, excellent rooftop solarium.The problem here is the fact that it is a quite old house, almost no ventilation so it gets moisture issues ( and therefore mold on several places like the kitchen area and bathroom )We had booked the place for 10 nights but we left 4 days before since we were confronted with cockroaches in the kitchen area / fridge. This was too much for us.The contacted the owner and het came with a story about a wet spring in Portugal but nothing about the cockroaches.

Overall I was satisfied with the house , place was well furnished , location was great and plenty of restaurants nearby ( I’d say Dunas was my favourite). My only gripe was the extra slim beds ( all four the same)…I’m 5’ 11” ( 180 lbs) and couldn’t feel comfortable sleeping in those beds. It’s time to get at least a queen size bed to attain a perfect score.

A fantastic find, right near the beach (only 1.5€ per adult return fare for 2 Minuit water taxi ride) shops, cafe’s, bars and local restaurants but soooo quiet. Amazing roof terraces. Comfortable beds and everything you need for a perfect stay.

Had a lovely stay in Cabanas in this traditional Portuguese house in a small town. Everything was within walking distance. Close to the boardwalk and ferry across Ria Formosa lagoon to the beach. Two wonderful terraces. Nicely decorated with artistic touches. We had a few issues that required us to contact the owner who responded immediately. Would recommend to others!

I highly recommend this property and this host. It is an idyllic location, the house is full of charm and really lovely neighbourhood. Excellent local restaurants, especially fish restaurants, and lovely fresh fruit, vegetable and fish market daily. It's the perfect spot for those who love the sea. Our host, José, was really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

The house was cosy and quaint. Well resourced. Everything you could possibly think of was provided . Beautiful roof terraces. Near the sea . Please note the nearest train station is cabanas de Tavira . Not Tavira . Tavira itself is only a 4 minutes train ride . Fabulous holiday !!

This house in Cabanas de Tavita is verden charming. The rooftop terrassen with view to Rolfs, the blue sky, the water og the willows, the outdoor bath, which was the only one we used, everything is nearby. We can only recommend it.
