Luxury 8bd/4.5ba, Pool with SPA, Wi-Fi, Gated, 3 Miles To Disney

The room on the bottom was leaking and it was a hole in the ceiling in the laundry room.

The house was perfect, exactly as described. The host was very kind and helpful. The pool was wonderful! We had it heated and it was just the right temp. Will definitely be looking to book again in the future.

The host responded to all questions quickly, the house was fine. There is a parking fee for each vehicle, and the pool has added fee to warm if needed. The house was ok, furniture was worn in places, but overall tidy. Plenty of rooms for all.

The place was large enough to sleep all 16 of us and it’s close to all the Disney parks. However, the place was filthy and there was a weird smell. the carpet is worn out and fraying, the oven door broke in half (called Mgmt company and was told it would be taken care of the next day) and it wasn’t. There appears to be a hole in one of the windows, created by a rock thrown from the grass cutters? Pic below. It was nice having a washer/dryer but dryer took forever to dry. The ice maker was frozen solid so was inoperable. Most of the electrical outlets were cracked/broken. There were no batteries in any of the remotes. There were no oven mitts so called Mgmt Company and they provided some. There should be a list of things that are not included (I.e. dish soap, rubber spatula, napkins, paper towels, etc). There were exactly 16 forks. If you have more in your party, you’re waiting to eat. There were ants in 2 of the upstairs bathrooms. I went to use a fry pan and it was greasy, grabbed a 2nd one…the same. Cleaning Company has a lot to be desired. Dust everywhere in all the bedrooms. And rust and dust on every vent cover. If you’ve got any health issues, this is not the place to stay. Pool was great but after 3 days became cloudy and was told the pool people came once a week, the day we were leaving.

Great space. Furniture really needs up dating. One side of sofa was leaning. Pool sticks are cracked. Pool area chairs need updating. But for the price, it was a nice stay. Very convenient bedrooms and enough bathrooms for large families. Nice pool. The kids loved it. Would stay again!

I dont even know where to begin. Communication was great up until move in day. We got there, the spa and poolheat did not work the maintenance man came the next day and got the heat working. The spa was never actually fixed . I was however able to go out to the pump and manually do it. The gasket was off and hanging on the freezer. It didn't allow the door to close all the way. The shelves were all broken, the ice would go on the floor when you opened the door. The shelves in the refrigerator were disgusting. We went to use the oven and the glass fell off the door. I was able to fix the oven door. It smelled like mildew,and the upstairs carpets were all water stained. The list goes on, i have pictures and emails to back up everything ive stated above and more. Ive been going to Emerald Island every year in April since 2010. This was my only bad experience there or with vrbo.we ended up leaving early. I could be a great house with some work

After a 20 hour drive looking forward to use of Jacuzzi ( that was advertised)....we were told the parts would come in a few days during our 10 day stay, it wasnt fixed and we were still charged full price. It needed a good cleaning, dog poop behind couch. Mold in coffee pot. I dont usually give bad ratings, but after i cleaned the place myself we eventually did make the best of our stay. I have to be honest about the review.

The price was good, some of the things were dated in the house, but mostly ok. The mattresses need to be replace on all of the beds, there were springs coming through some of them. The biggest problem we had was the hot tub did not work. We paid extra for the heater so we could use the hot tub and it didn't work. We contacted the property manager the evening we got there and let them know. They said we would have to call the maintenance company out the next day. I'm not sure why they didn't call them. The maintenance company said they couldn't get any one to come fix it during our stay. I asked for a refund and received less than half of the money back. Bottom line, probably ok for the price, but do not pay extra for anything that you hope will work.

House needs updating. Recent damage from the hurricane in the pool area. Hot tub not functioning. Needs repair or new BBQ.

Bad communication. Filthy house. Mold smell. Host not answering call

The house was close enough to all of the theme parks about 15-20 minute drive with traffic to Disney Parks and about 25 to universal. Was a great place to stay for an our family and we had no issues. You do have to pay $20 to park at the resort club house but it was for the entire stay.
