Luxury 5-Star Home ~ Location~Fenced Yard~Families~Couples~King Bed

The owner has taken care to decorate the main floor of the property for a comfortable stay. However, there was not a door to close off the basement, and the basement was clearly under renovation and left unprotected. There was also water infiltrating the basement and the whole house was overly humid and smelled of mildew. This property is described as 5-star, great for families and allows pets. The open basement felt unsafe and unhealthy.

Beautiful home, very comfortable, with everything you need to make for a great stay. The back porch and fenced yard made for a relaxing evening.

We went for a wedding. It was myself, my husband and my son & his wife -we had a great location close to everything that we needed to be at -loved all of it. I really did. I would definitely rent this again.

We loved our stay! We were traveling out of state for a National Youth Series Race and the house was fully stocked. We weren’t there much because of racing but when we were, we had everything we needed! Thank you Brandie for the wonderful stay. My kids loved it!

Cute home with lots of updates, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. Basement is currently under construction. The coffee bar was fully stocked and had drip, K-cup and cold press equipment!The listing says the bathroom is Shower or bathtub. It is actually a tub/shower combination. Overall a nice home in a residential area close to everything you would need.

Pros: Check in was easy. Newly updated home. Nicely furnished. Fenced back yard. Very reasonably priced. Cons: Pervasive smell throughout the entire home, presumably from the open unfinished cellar (no door from kitchen to open cellar below). Master bed VERY firm and has divot in it.

This home is a little run down. The basics were met, but furniture needs cleaned. You need to know if you have anyone in your party that is handicapped or doesn't walk well, the driveway is all broken up and the steps to get into the front door are high. The back porch steps are even higher. We would not stay here again. Communication with the owner was excellent.

The property was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy as the code was sent to us days before entering. Beds were good and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and appliances pretty new. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Our stay was enjoyable.

But we did not all stay there., We had a family meeting for a family funeral and it was a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy the grill in the backyard. Plenty of open space and everyone enjoyed it. The neighborhood was nice and safe. It was close to Family property in Topeka. The host was wonderful. We had no problems. The Internet works great beautifully decorated.

My family and I enjoyed our stay on Munson Street. It is short walk to a large grocery store, coffee shops, and restaurants. I especially would recommend a walk over to the Westboro neighborhood to see some grand Topeka houses. We all slept comfortably and enjoyed the many features of the house, including the coffee-makers, washer and dryer, effective heat and AC, and nice back deck. I would definitely stay there again!

Quiet, safe neighborhood. House was updated, clean and very comfortable, beds were great. Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and necessary items. Close to all kinds of restaurants, parks and shopping. Could not be happier with our stay. One safety suggestion: install a grab bar in the shower. We will return.

Perfect place to stay…fit all our needs! Darling home with an incredibly well-stocked kitchen. Loved the layout of the house and the decor. The fenced in yard was a huge plus as was the location. The hosts have thought of just about everything as there was even a lint roller/pet hair remover in a kitchen drawer. Highly recommend this property!

Due to friend being sick we had to leave after one night. Fenced in yard was good for the dogs. Door to outside is next to steps downstairs. Outside door should open other way. Easy to fall down the steps when going in or out.

We were in Topeka for a wedding and this house was perfect for our needs, & was cheaper than a hotel after adding up the charges for our pets. We were all very comfortable, & the dogs settled in very quickly. The only down side to this house was the driveway-if you don’t park close enough to the garage the birds will poop on it!

We visit our mom in Topeka several times a year and have rented this home on each stay. Great Home and Highly recommended when in Topeka.

Had surgery at Stormont Vail Hospital and needed a place to stay for the weekend. Quiet and relaxing location close to the hospital. Truly a home away from home! Thank you for your hospitality.?

It was a nice property that is beautifully updated. The owner responded to any questions that I had promptly. It does only have one bathroom and the shades do not block light so the rooms were bright early. Also, there is no hot tub, which I believe was on the listing. However, overall, it was very nice and perfect for our needs.
