We went in January, and there was a snowstorm, crazy sustained winds and extreme cold, but we very much enjoyed our stay anyway. The island and the downtown area is older and run down in all other areas we saw, so don't expect much in the way of dining or shopping. It's more of a quiet beach getaway. Savannah is 1/2 hour ish away, lots of good restaurants and shopping etc there.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We might even come back one day if it worked out well for us because we were doing a lot of things for my son‘s wedding and it was perfect. Everybody had a place to stay place to sleep was very clean very much was very impressed!!

This was perfect for our wedding party, near the venue. Not so good if you’re there to go to the beach and pick shells and play in the surf. Great view from the kitchen balcony and a great kitchen as well. All of the bedrooms were well done and very clean... These condos that are vertical are lots of stairs, especially with the kitchen in third floor but the elevator was worth it.

The view was spectacular! Beautiful birds, fascinating turtles, and gorgeous water. We sat in the rocking chairs watching nature and loving it! Thank you for such a relaxing stay. The home was spotless and perfectly appointed.

Property was just okay. The house was nice, but there were frogs and bugs throughout the house. Needed a better cleaner or a better cleaning company. The pool was absolutely disgusting; we let the host know immediately upon check-in, and nothing was ever done. They basically didn't care and told us it would be done Monday or Tuesday, and nothing ever happened. The beds were okay, not the best, but that was the least bad thing. Communication with anyone or the maintenance was non existant so don't even bother. We tried all day every other day and it was either off the hook or just not answering.

The house is beautiful and clean with so much space for everyone to relax and spread out. Captain’s Cabana has so many great amenities from the pool to the game room in the garage to the turtle pond in the backyard. The house is very clean and well maintained and the management team was friendly and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and in the end, wished we had a few extra days. We will be back!

We all loved the property and location. The facility was clean, and everything functioned. The amenities were great, especially the heated pool. TVR was helpful and prompt on the one service call for a clogged drain.

We had a great time with family at this location. Beautiful views of the ocean, quiet neighborhood, and plenty of room.

The house was better than advertised. It was spacious and clean. The location was quiet and relaxing. All of the family thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Beautiful property!

We had 3 generations of us, 11 in all, and this lovely house was perfect for us. Beautiful house, beautifully furnished. Great views of the water and of sunsets, and less than 5 kminute walk to the beach. 5 Bedrooms and a queen in the den worked perfectly for our group. The various games (ping pong, foozball) kept us all busy and the 3 and 5 year olds were fascinated by the (incredibly slow-moving) elevator. We hadn't been to Tybee in a long time and it's very low key (worked well for us; might be slow for others.) The main public beaches in the island drew a crowd but our section of beach, a 5 minute walk away, was virtually ours alone. Overall, we loved it.
