We were within walking distance to everything and we could not ask for better location. The house was amazing the decor spectacular and especially enjoyed out door spaces and individual bathrooms and the roof top. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home with tons of extras!

Reviewer Comments: my family and i gathered for a thanksgiving visit at hartridge house in savannah. this lovely home is charming with antique spaces and modern conveniences. it is close to forsyth and other pocket parks. we rented the entire property and had room for 4 families and a couple of pups. the neighborhood was welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with the nearby residents. great wine store and close kroger within walking distance. lucky savannah offered support and assistance before and during our stay.

The property is beautiful and in a great location... but I could do without the roaches....Cockroaches, palmetto bugs, call them what you want... We had 6 sightings in various places in the house. Now I understand that Savannah has more of these bugs due to the weather, but the fact that we saw so many in various locations in the house has me concerned about how many there really were. We even had some get inside our bags.... :( It made me very uncomfortable to sleep in the bed/get up during the night. When we messaged the property managers, they were quick to respond saying that someone could come by to spray the house, but we would need to be out of the house for a few hours. We did so and did not hear anything about someone coming by. I followed up about 2 hours later to confirm that someone was coming by and that they would message us when they were done. The company agreed that they would message us. Three hours later and nothing! I followed up AGAIN and they said someone had been by... but I don't have any actual proof. We still had bugs, nothing seemed to be moved or tampered with, there was no smell, etc. but who knows! A lot of the fixtures were poorly fastened to the walls, doorknobs to closets (master) came off in your hand, towel racks fell down when anything was hanging on them. Again, the house and location were beautiful, but it ended up feeling like it was soley pretty on the outside and when you got up close you saw the true colors.

We had a great time at the house! Such history within that place. It was impeccably clean and everything was furnished for us and no need to worry if you left something at home. It was so close to the waterfront district and many restaurants around. We hope to stay there again sometime in the near future.

Even though it is beautiful and stately, we seemed to forget that it wasn't a brand new house with state of the art appliances, lighting, heat and air.
